The next day I try convincing my mum to let me stay home again but she won't have any of it.

"You're going to school Ryan." She says to me.

"Why can't I stay home?" I whine.

At that moment Summer walks in with her blanket draping from her shoulders. She rubs at her eyes sleepily before taking a seat on the stool next to me.

"If Ry is staying home then can I?" Summer turns her giant green eyes on my mum. I can see my mums resolve breaking. Come on Summer!

Knock! Knock! Crap. Mum snaps out of her trance glaring at Summer. "Don't do that."

Summer giggles and shrugs innocently leaving Mum to go answer the door. "I almost had her." she says once mums out of the room.

I high five her. "It's okay, we'll get her next time." I grin at her. She giggles.

"Ryan it's for you!" I get up from my chair. I wonder who it is?

When I get in the hallway mum is nowhere to be seen. I pull the door open wider to find Elly standing there. She smiles up at me. A smile that looks a lot like his smile.

"Hi." I say after a while. She gives me a little wave.

"Um...Can I come in?" I nod hesitantly. She comes in and I lead her up stairs.

Instead of jumping on my bed like the last time she was in my room she opts to stand in front of me. She lifts her hand up to caress my cheek but pulls back when I flinch away from her. I can see hurt and confusion in her baby blue eyes.

"What's wrong?" I look down at my feet. I don't know what to say.

"Uh..Nothing." I let out a nervous laugh, taking a few steps away from her. She frowns at the action.

"I came to see if you're okay. You haven't been at school and you've been ignoring my calls." I shrug and take a seat on my bed.

"I lost my phone."

"Oh." It is silent again. I don't know what to say. I can barely look at her now without picturing him God! How the hell is he still ruining my life from the grave??

"Ryan?" She is crouching right in front of me again. How does she always do that?? "What's wrong?"

She wipes at the tears on my face with her thumb. Gosh! I'm such a wreck!

A sob escapes my mouth. This secret is getting so hard to keep. Why did it have to be her brother? Out of all the dickheads in the world her brother had to be the one that took away my innocence.

"Baby please tell me what's wrong." I squeeze my eyes shut when she pulls me into her arms. I immediately grab onto her tshirt and hold it for dear life.

She moves us so we are lying on the bed like last time. Only this time we are much closer. She continues to wipe away my tears while I  squeeze my eyes shut tighter. Maybe I can just push it away.

"Ryan." Her voice sounds broken. "Please say something." She whispers.

"I c-cant." I choke on the word. She won't understand
