"So, where do we stand now?" I asked.

"I don't know. Like you, I'm not the best at expressing my emotions. Where do you think we stand?" he asked.

"I... I think I like you. A lot. Which is hard for me to say because I've been led astray by so many people I've said that to."

"I really appreciate that."

I smiled awkwardly. "Jug, I'm glad you're in my life. And yes, I know it hasn't been that long that you've been in it full time, but maybe it's a Romeo and Juliet story. Maybe this is destiny, as stupid as it may sound."

"No, it sounds right. I feel the same way."

I closed my eyes slightly and leaned in, putting my hand on the back of his head. "Do you want to do that again?"

I could feel his smile. "Sounds good to me."

I pulled him closer and kissed him, once again smelling his nice cologne and vanilla. I was kinda glad my inhaler was next to my bed: I might need it, like I did last time.

After a few minutes, I felt the cool air on my skin as my shirt was taken off. I shrugged Jughead's jacket off of him and pulled his shirt off too. We were momentarily both still in our jeans, but our jackets, shirts, and his beanie were scattered on the floor around the bed.

As I felt him reach to unbutton my pants, I heard a knock on the door. "Shit, Lark must have forgotten her keys. I'll be right back," I said.

I rushed out to the door and opened it. It was F.P. "Uh, hey Mr. Jones, how can I help you?" I asked.

"I just wanted to bring you and your sister a welcome gift. Is she home?" he asked, holding up a bottle of champagne.

"No, but I will let her know you stopped by."

I took the champagne from him and thanked him before closing and relocking the door. I set the champagne on the counter and went back to my room. "Who was it?" Jughead asked.

"No one. Just a neighbor bringing a gift," I said, not wanting to bring up his dad.

"Come on, who was it?"

"No one. Just forget about it."

"Ok. Just this time though."

I smiled and leaned in for another kiss. I'm not gonna go into detail after this, so let's just do one of those time skip thingies.

~Time Skip~

I heard Death Valley by Fall Out Boy blasting. When I opened my eyes, I looked at my phone, and the song was my alarm. It was six 'o clock, time to get ready for school.

I shook Jughead awake. "Hey, babe, we need to get ready for school. Did you bring extra clothes?" I asked.

Jughead opened his eyes, sat up, yawned, and nodded. "Yeah, I have some in my messenger bag. What time is it?" he asked.

"It's six 'o clock. We need to leave for school in about half an hour so I can meet Betty and she can show me where my classes are."

"Ok. Let's get ready. Are we walking to school?"

"I was thinking we could take Harley."

"Harley?"

"My mom's Harley Davidson. I named it Harley."

"Ok. Yeah, sounds good. Do you have coffee?"

"Yeah, I already made you some."
