Remington
Panic rose through my body as the days went on and my emails were left unanswered.
My days spent writing songs were both productive and unproductive. Some days emotions fell from my lips onto the paper while others my mind raced from the beauty of their face to the actions and reasons behind them.
On those days where I couldn't focus on anything but their departure, broken lyrics were forced out of my system.
"So sweet," I muttered to myself and tapped the pen frantically on the desk.
I racked my brain for anything to follow it. Nothing stood out within the sea of shitty ideas that swarmed my brain.
"Name..." I scolded myself.
How could we spend those intimate nights together and fail to get even a simple name?
I heaved a heavy sigh and buried my head into my arms. I relaxed on the desk and let the words slip out in whatever order they pleased. I was far too gone to even care at this point. They've ruined me.
"My sweetness," I whispered, "why did you leave? I need you by my side always, forever... more..." I trailed off.
My eyes drifted shut as my body finally forced me into sleep after two consecutive days awake. I was going to dream of them, I was sure of it. My Sweetness... I can't escape them even with their lack of presence.
Oh damn... What could possibly be happening to your beloved Remi? Has he... fallen in love to have his heart shattered? Or has he broken his own heart from an unhealthy one-sided obsession?
