Kayla's POV
When I got off the buss at school, I saw Rose waiting for me at the doors. "Hey Kayla!" She calls and I wave to her. I see a couple boys that are mean to me look at me then to Rose and then back to me like they were debating wether to bully me.
They eventually decide not to as they went inside the school. I run up to Rose and hug her. She hugs back as we giggle and begin the walk to our first class.
"I STILL can't believe that you've been adopted by Joey Graceffa. Of all people" She says as we make it to our lockers which just so happened to be next to one another.
"I know right. When the orphanage headmaster told me that I had been adopted, I literally screamed like a little girl in a toy store." I say and we both begin to laugh.
"I totally would too." She says as we sit down in our seats for first hour just as the tardy bell rang. When the teacher came in, every one got real quiet. She doesn't tolerate any interruptions to class.
Just then a pice of paper plopped onto my desk. I pick it up and read it. "Ms. Praceffa? Do you have something you'd like to share with the class?" I jump as she makes her way to my desk. She takes the note from me and reads it. Her eyes become feruious as she reads it. "So i'm a bitch now am i? That'll be detention today after school young lady. Do I make myself clear?"
I look at my desk and say in a low voice " Yes Mrs Richie" I guess she didn't hear or she wanted to draw the classes atenchion to me because she says "I can't hear you." So I say a little louder "Yes Mrs Richie"
"Good" She says before turning back around to continue teaching class. God what will Joey and Daniel say when they find out I got detention? I think as i take notes.
After the bell rings to end class I get up and wait out in the hallway by the door for Rose. When she comes out she gives me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry that you got detention Kayla." She says as we walk to lunch. "It's ok Rose. I'm just worried about what Joey and Daniel will say. I'm texting joey right now to let him know."
K: Hey I won't be riding the buss home today :(
J: Why? And wats with the frowny face?
K: I got detention
J: oh
K: r u mad?
J:Not mad just disappointed but we'll talk about it when u get home
K: ok
Great. Joey's now disappointed in me. Can this day get any worse? I think as i eat my packed lunch.
"What he say?" Rose asks as she sits down next to me. "He's disappointed in me." I say flatly as i take a bite of my ham and cheese sandwich.
