The old leader

In a matter of minutes they were out from the prison and got in the car. Gabriel smiled brightly

"Mike!"

"Hey."

"Err,how's your head?"

"Oh,I don't know. You HIT me with a crowbar,you genius!" He pouted angrily but then bursted out in laughs.

"Sorry about that,but you scared the shit out of me!" The other chuckled.

"Alright,so let's go to-" Gabriel continued but was interrupted.

"Ah-ah-ah!Let me stop you right there. If you want me to help,I'LL be the leader. Just like years ago." Michael snickered.

"I-...Ugh,fine!"

"Great!" He said stretching and crossing his arms behind his head.

"Here's my plan for now;Two of us go to the pizzeria and make sure nothing happens,while other two look for some information we can use against Him."

"Sounds good to me." Jeremy shrugged.

"Gabriel,you and Jer will go on the day shift. Me and Susie will go home and check the old pizzeria documents."

They all nodded.

"Perfect." The boy laughed.

They drove to Michael's home where he and Susie got out from the car,then Jeremy and Gabriel proced to go to the pizzeria.

"Ladies first." Michael chuckled while bowing playfully as he opened the door. He was wearing Gabriel's big hoodie to hide himself from the other people.

"What a gentleman!" Susie snorted and walked in,looking around.

"Top ten things the Aftons are,other than assholes of course." He laughed following behind and locking the door. "Come on,follow me." He said, pulling his hood down and walking towards a door.

"Wait,what?Aren't we going to work here?"

"In such a small room?Psh,no way."

He unlocked the door and walked down some stairs,disappearing in the dark.

Susie hesitantly watched him from the door.

"Come on,it's just a basement!" He shouted from the end of the stairs.

She shrugged it off and followed him;as soon as she was there,she gasped softly and raised her eyebrows. "wOAH. Dude!"

The basement was huge.

Michael was sitting backwards on a rolling chair in the center of the room,leaning on its back and facing towards the door. Behind him,a desk full of papers,documents and blueprints all reordered and organized;above it,a crok bulletin board covered in ruined pictures.

In some there was a family,in others the faces of the missing kids,in more pictures from each pizzeria.

Around the room there were even some robotics parts and tools.

Susie looked around amazed "...How did you-"

"Doesn't matter how now. C'mon,get a chair and sit,it appears we have a lot of work to do." Michael laughed.

Gabriel and Jeremy leaned against the walls of the pizzeria,watching the children.

"Stay focused. Now that people know Mike has a week out of the prison the murderer may attack just to blame him again." Gabe said while checking the room from there.

"I don't understand,w-what can lead someone to do such horrible things?" Jeremy pouted.

"I don't know,and I don't care:Killing isn't justified. And why the hell are they trying to drag Mike in all of this! Like,I want to choke them with my own h-"
