alpha story part 3

chapter 10

They stayed like that so long that they both fell into an exhausted sleep. She was only roused when the water was turned off.

She parted her eyes, where she saw patch and Nora standing above them. Coming to, she looked down at Alex who had curled up, resting her head on her thigh with Sara's hand buried in her hair.

"what time is it?" she asked groggily.

"its almost six. We figured it was time to give the river a break." Patch said, as he knelt in front of them, and grabbed a towel from the floor. "and we also had to turn it off for safety reasons. With all the steam it was impossible to go down the stairs safely." Nora smacked his back and grabbed another towel.

"we where just worried about you two. But being in here so long with the water at such a temperature isn't good for the baby."

"oh." She said quietly. She was to exhaust to move. Her eyes where still so heavy and threatening to close every second.

Nora roused Alex, who woke up much slower. And was probably still half asleep. Nora went to pick up Alex, but she wouldn't let go of saris hand. It as only when Nora promised that she will take her to Sara's room, that she only wanted her to get dry and changed, did she let go long enough for Nora to lift her out of the tub.

Patch lifted Sara and cradled her against his chest as he took her to her room. he stripped her, she was to tired to care, and he put her in one of his shirts, and a pair of boxers which he assured her where clean, then gently, carefully drying her hair with a towel.

Nora brought Alex in and set her down beside where Sara lay, and Alex curled up into her.

Patch continued to do her hair. She closed her eyes at how wonderful it felt. His fingers going threw her hair, rubbing her scalp gently. She could purr if she had any strength to.

he withdrew, and she wanted to protest, but nothing was moving on her. she felt to tired, and she realized her eyes where shut.

He gently put her head on the pillow and heard him pad over to the door, where he shut out the lights and closed he door.

"Come on, Sara is time to wake up." she groaned as she rolled over, trying to get away from the obnoxious voice.

"go away." She groaned, puling a pillow over her head.

"we need to go to school." They grabbed the blankets and yanked. Cold air brushed against her warm skin and she shivered violently and curled up. she grabbed blindly for her blankets.

"I don't want to." She whined.

There was a large sigh, and she was suddenly lifted from bed. Her eyes few open as she gasped.

Patch carried her over to the closet as she started to smack him. "let me down you Neanderthal." She growled as she tried to wiggle out of his arms.

He set her down roughly infront of her closet. The ground was cold, and she cursed patch.

"why did you do that?" she groused.

"its time for school. Get dressed or your walking." He said and left. She glared at his departing back, then got dressed in her uniform.

She slowly made her way downstairs as she put her hair up, not bothering to brush it.

The downstairs was deserted, no sound reaching her ears. She pulled on her shoes, and went into the kitchen. If he thinks she Is leaving before she had something to eat, hes an idiot.
