alpha story part 3

chapter 8

They drove for over an hour. They drove to the coast. The water was so blue, it looked like crystal. The wind was whipping threw her hair, stinging her face. It was extraordinary.

"wait, pull over there!" she cried. A group of cars where in a dirt drive way on top of a cliff. She saw some people jump, and the remaining cheering.

He pulled over into the parking lot, and the lack of wind made her face burn.

They got out, and he came around the jeep before she even had her belt unbuckled. He reached around and unbuckled her. with a small kiss, he grabbed her around the waist and helped her down. he kept his arm around her waist. She felt warm and fuzzy. She smiled at him, and they walked over. The closer they got, the more she grew apprehensive.

"that is a long way down." she murmured.

"what happened to the fearless girl who kissed me in class?" she looked down at the water. The people below where alive, swimming and happy.

"you know, your right." she said. She pulled her uniform shirt up over her head and threw it to the ground. She was wearing a plain black bra, nothing fancy. She suddenly wished she could invest in lacy girly underwear.

She kept her uniform pants on, but he still cheered. She closed her mind for a minute, and before she could think, she sprinted, then jumped.

The feeling of nothingness beneath her feet screamed at her instincts. She started to fall, and she closed her eyes and let the feel of the hair whipping against her body sooth her soul.

Before she knew it, she hit the water, the cold enveloping her, cradling her like a child to a mother's breast.

She opened her eyes and looked up at the surface. Threw the water, it looked like a completely different world.

Soon her lungs where burning, and her body was desperate for air. She pushed her way up threw the water and broke the surface with a gasp.

It had only been seconds since she hit the water, but she felt like she was in there for years. She swam over to the cliff and started climbing up the cliff face.

She instantly found hand and foot holds, and she was climbing with ease. She reached the top, and Jake helped her up the rest of the way.

"was that exciting enough for you?"

she could only laugh. "it was amazing. I'm going to go again!" she said and let him go long enough o throw herself back off the cliff. She did a flip mid air and found her self once again in the ocean. She broke the surface, just in time to see Jake falling near her, and landed in the water.

When he broke the surface, and she splashed him.

He splashed her back, then swam to her and pushed her head under water. She laughed as she swam away, and up to the surface.

Their water war continued for an hour, where her shoulders and face felt stiff and she knew she was developing a sun burn with her fair skin.

They climbed the rock face again and went to his jeep.

"that was amazing! I'm literally shaking with adrenaline. And I love it!" she yelled, unable to contain her joy. He laughed at her as they jumped in.

"want to do something extremely fun?" she nodded eagerly. He only smirked at her, and they pulled back onto the road, and they drove another thirty minutes

"so, my friend owns land, and as a profit, he turns it into a off road mud run." He explained as he pulled off onto a side road.

He pulled over onto the shoulder and unbuckled himself.
