Once inside I quickly set him on my bed and turned the lights on. I didn’t know why I was helping him but deep down I knew that he couldn’t die and that I had to save him. So I quickly went to the kitchen and took all the towels that I could find. I was trying to find a bowl, when someone placed a bowl next to me. I quickly turned and there was Lucy, but she didn’t look like herself. She had a haunted look in her eyes as if her vision was clouded. She placed a comforting hand on my shoulder and said, “Here you go, the first aid kit is in the bowl as well. He is going to be alright don’t worry. But now go save the fire boy he’ll be important for you journey“.  And with that Lucy turned and headed back to her room living me stunned.

I quickly snapped out of it and took the stuff that I had collected and went to my room.

Once I entered my room, I went to my bathroom and placed the first aid kit on the cupboard, placed the bowl in the sink, and then filled the bowl with water.

I went back to my room, sat on the floor next to him and started to clean the blood off with the soaked towels to have a better look at his injuries.

After what seemed like an eternity of cleaning blood (with the amount of blood that I cleaned I’m shocked that he survived this long), to have more access to his injuries, I had to take off everything that he had on except his boxers.

Finally I could see a big deep gash in his side, and like five others on his torso. I quickly went to the bathroom, took the first aid kit and then went back to him and sat down.

I took the disinfectant and started to disinfect all his injuries. When I was done with that, I could see how deep they really were and I knew that I had to close them.

I took a deep breath with the needle in my hands and thought back to when I was tending to my own injuries the same way, so I went and started to slowly sew his injuries.

I was just reaching his last gash and the biggest on his side when I suddenly stopped feeling his heartbeat on my palm that was placed on his chest next to his heart. I was panicking and didn’t know what to do. Tears started to fall down my checks.

“No please don’t die, oh God, what do I do…”I said in between sobs.

I was panicking and confused and didn’t know what to do, when I started to have memories of those fish and that man that I had killed with my power and I couldn’t have him as well on my list of dead people that died at my hands. That’s when the words of Lucy comeback to my mind “don’t worry he’ll survive”

But how could she know that I would save him. The only thing that could probably cause her to know that I would save him is if she knew about my powers. And hypothetically let’s say that she knows, then that means that I could use my powers for good.

And with that thought in my mind, and all the courage that I could muster, I slowly ungloved my hands, got up and sat on him with his hip in between my legs then slowly and carefully laid my hands on his chest where if you looked closely you could see electricity running through them.

Once on him I laid my hands for a few seconds then took them away, then placed them again on him. I continued that act several times using my hands as a defibrillator until his heart started to beat again with good enough force to give me some peace of mind.

After five minutes of sending him electric shocks I finally had a reaction from him. His heart started to beat again with enough force to calm me down enough to finish sewing his last injury.

When I finished it I went and cleaned the towels and threw the bloody water in the sink then went back to my bathroom and covered him with my sheets. I took a chair and sat next to him to make sure that he would be alright during the night.
