A new destiny

Unknown to me downstairs in my room Luke was waking up to the most beautiful sound that he had heard and liked waking up to it. he slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room that’s when he noticed that the place next to him was empty and he started to panic trying to figure out where Hayley was, since that was his priority but as well to try and remember where he was and what had happened to him.

He slowly started to calm down when he started to hear that laugh again and sighed a sigh of relief when he realised that she was upstairs.

He sat up ride on the bed and tried to figure out why her not being next to him bothered him that much and made him panic and feel an aching in his chest.

He was so in to his thoughts that he didn’t notice his mind drifting form why he was panicking to when he first saw her.

He had been in the dark for a long time, that’s when he thought that he was dead and would stay for ever in here that’s when he felt a surge of electricity mixed with worm run rough him and to his heart. That’s when he woke up in shock in a place that I didn’t’ know where he was so he started to look around that’s when he saw her she had her hand on his chest and looked panicked.

 On instinct he flipped her on her back and laid her under him, that’s when he looked down at her and was met with her eyes they were a deep brown colour, when you looked into her eyes it’s as if you could see into her soul they were full of pain, hate, panic and wonder. That’s when he was brought out of hi staring by her moving and trying to get out of his grip, to try and breath.

He remembered seeing one of his teachers helping one of his students when that had happened to him so he did the same thing.

Slowly his memory turned on another.

He lied there looking at the celling tying to sleep when he felt her moving, Hayley slowly turned in the bed and started cuddling him by placing her hand on his chest and placing her arm on his waist. He didn’t move since wasn’t used to that but that simple act felt comforting to him and he slowly duelled of to sleep falling peacefully for the first time in a long time.

The memories changed back, he was half asleep when he felt Hayley remove his hand from his waist. When he felt her live the bed so he slowly opened his eyes and looked at her and since she had her back at him she couldn’t see him. that’s when he noticed that she was slowly removing her shirt and couldn’t stop himself from looking at her, that’s when something caught his eyes she had what looked like some sort of tattoo ,it would look like that for a normal human but for their kind that tattoo is a symbol of mating so he quickly turned around because if her mate knew what he was doing he could be killed by him and not be punished for doing that since it was a normal thing and he should have known better to not look at her like that. So he quickly shut his eyes and fall back a sleep.

He was brought out of his thoughts by another laugh that one of someone much older, and he got confused as to how many people where living in this house.

So he got his but out of the bed and headed to where he guessed they would be, the kitchen since it was early in the morning.

When he arrived at the door he heard Hayley telling the other person something so he pressed more attention,

“….he’s tall, well built, he has beautiful green eyes, his nice I think, he’s secretive like me I can tell you something for sure something happened in his past and I’m going to figure it out. Oh and he has the most beautiful smile that I have seen.

“Oh well he seems like a wonderful boy. But Hayley remember that the reason why people have secret is because they don’t want people to know something”

“I know that Lucy”

“I know that you know but just keep in mind how you felt when I tried to figure out your past and I made false accusations”

“Don’t worry I’ll be careful if he gets uncomfortable I’ll stop”

“I know that you will that’s one of the things that I love most about you and one of the reasons why I let you live here”

“Oh Lucy, don’t flatter me we both know that the reason that you let me live with you was because you needed a friend to do your chores”

 With that said they both laughed. I was caught in the laugh again as if she could hypnotise me but quickly shook my head remembering that she had a mate and was of limits and by the looks of it she liked her mate as well with that thought in my mind I counted to five took a deep breath and entered the kitchen.
