Kirishima x Reader: Leave Me Alone (P1)

Your POV

I walked down the halls to my class, my ears and tail flicking. Hopefully, people will take one look at me and leave me alone, but I'm not usually that lucky. I opened the door and looked around. I got some looks, but this one kid with spiked-up red hair kept looking at me, even when the rest of the students turned to the teacher.

"Ok class be quiet. We have a new student joining us today. Listen to her introduction, and don't talk unless you have a question. And save it for the end." He said. I stepped up and sighed.

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n). I'm from America and my quirk is called Wolf. I can decide if I want to look like one or not though. Please just leave me alone. I don't like people very much." I said, then walked to the only empty desk. The teacher started to do his thing and I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned and saw a blond guy with a black streak in his hair. He held out a piece of paper and smiled. I grabbed it and turned around.

'My friend thinks your cute. He wants you to meet him at the roof top at lunch.' I sighed.

-time skip-

I sat on the roof, looking at the city. The wind really is calming. My ears twitched to the sound of footsteps and I turned, seeing the guy with spikey red hair walking up.

"Hey." I said and he smiled.

"Denki told me you wanted to meet me up here?" He questioned and my tail flicked.

"He told me you wanted to meet me up here." I growled and started to stomp down the stairs and to the cafeteria. I found the blond and grabbed his collar, dragging him to the roof.

"Hey! Hey! What did I do?!" He shouted and I let him go.

"You set us up!" I said and he started to laugh nervously.

"I-i would n-never!" He said and I growled.

"Did you not here what I said! I DONT LIKE PEOPLE!" I yelled and felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Why?" I turned to the red haired boy.

"Because people stab you in the back if you get to close!" I said, shoving the boy. He tripped, then the worst thing happened... He fell off the edge of the roof. My heart stopped, and I jumped after him. I dove, reaching him quickly. My eyes turned light blue, and ice surrounded us. We came in contact with the ground, but the ice kept us from being hurt. People rushed out of the building, and I broke the ice. I kept my bangs in my face.

"I'm sorry." I said, tears forming in my eyes.

"(Y/n)-"

"I JUST WANNA BE A HERO! AND I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE! NOT HURT THEM!!" I yelled. Strong arms wrapped around me and I clung to the boy, crying my eyes out.

"Shh... I'm here, Kiri's here." He said and I looked up at him.

"I like that name." I said and he smiled slightly. After that, everything went black.

-time skip-

I woke up in the nurses office. When I looked around, I felt something on my arm. I looked down and saw Kiri laying on my arm. He groaned, then shot his head up, his hair no-longer in spikes. His head snapped every way before he looked at me.

"Hey." He said, his voice sounding deeper than usual because he just woke up.

"Hi." I said, then I remembered what happened. I looked away from him and kept my head down.

"What's wrong?" He asked and put his hand on my shoulder.

"I could have killed you." I said and he smiled, then started to laugh. At first it was soft, then he was gasping for air.

"Why are you laughing? You could have died." I said and he looked at me.

"I wouldn't have died! I would have used my quirk to save me!" I tilted my head.

"Huh?" He lifted his hand, then it turned harder than rock.

"Heck, I jump off of buildings on purpose to help strengthen my quirk!" He said and I gave him a marveled look.

"You two should be getting home!" We both jumped at the woman's voice. We nodded, the got up.

"Do you think you can stay at my place? I wouldn't want you to have nightmares about pushing people off of a roof." He said and I smiled.

"Sure. I live in an apartment alone, so no one will know I'm gone." I said and we started to walk to his house.

Maybe... Just maybe... Having friends here will probably be a good thing.
