The flyback didn't take us long, Dragas being so big he can cover great distances. Once we entered our land many dragons came to fly beside us. Hundreds of Dragons flew below, up above and beside us as we approached home. Then I felt a familiar feeling, looking up to see Akin and Moon coming to us.
"You had everyone worried, me and mother the most."
"Sorry, I needed to clear my head and get away. It's the first time I'm able to do that." I smiled as he did, we all flew home and landed outside the village. Mother came running over to us, she hugged me.
"I was so worried about you." I hugged her back.
"I know mother and I'm sorry, Dragas knew he had to get me away from here for a bit." I walked up tot he Grand Woman. "I have met another clan, the Desert Clans leader as well." She nodded and smiled.
"You are fitting the shoes of Kahla very quick." Kahla, she must have created it while I was gone. So I can feel that it mean Dragon Queen.
Everyone greeted me before going back to their works. Mother and the Grand Woman went to our house while Akin, Moon, Dragas and myself walked up the mountain to talk in peace. We reached the waterfall and put our feet into the water, Dragas and Moon laid behind us.
"So tell me about the Desert clans and why you seem different."
"I'm different?"
"To me, yes. So start talking."
"Well after we left here, Dragas took me to the sea. You shouldn't have seen it, it was so beautiful and the water was nice and cold. Then they have what we call sand, it's hot with it sits in the sun," brother smiled. "Later that night the Desert Clan found me, Dragas was in the water fishing." I looked at him as he smiled. "Skyra, their leader is a great woman. We're friends now. She rides Hook, a dragon that walks on two legs with no wings. It was strange to see for the first time. I thought all dragons could fly but desert dragons can't. That doesn't stop them, that are the fastest land dragons I have ever seen." I smiled as I told brother everything, he was interested in meeting Skyra and her clan now. I told him that all the dragons will gather one day.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked me, I stood up and looked at the sky.
"I'm going to gather all the dragons to wage a war against Bones." My words caused both brother and Moon to look at me in shock.
"When did you become so strong?" Akin whispered to me, I looked at him and smiled.
"The moment I got Dragas." I smiled and touched Dragas's head.
Four days later, the Desert Clans arrived. Everyone was shocked to see the dragons walk on two legs but were more amazed to see that they brought things from their homelands. Sand and blue water being among a few more. Skyra was wearing her mask while carrying Talan, Hook had some steady footwork as he climbed up the rocky trail to get to us. Skyra dismounted from Hook while holding Talan.
"Kiza, my friend." We hugged each other, I took Talan from Skyra as the Grand Woman, Mother and brother came over to meet Skyra.
"Mother, Brother, Grand Woman this is Skyra. The leader of the Desert Clans." I introduced her to them, next was them to her. "Skyra, this is my brother Akin, my mother Kishia and the Grand Woman of our clan."
"It is a pleasure to the family of Kiza, the Dragon Queen." Skyra bows her head, everyone behind standing behind her followed her movement.
"Welcome to our home, you all must be tired. We have prepared beds and sleeping areas unless you prefer something else." Mother was nervous because we never had other clans come here.
"No need to worry, we like to sleep outside this time of year but the children might like the beds," Skyra looked back at the children that were with them, they all nodded their heads. "The beds will be for the children. Now Kiza shall we talk about leading matters." I nodded my head and hand Talan to mother, who had itching fingers to hold him. She smiled and giggled, Skyra and I both smiled as we walked up the mountain, Dragas and Hook followed us. Once we reached the waterfall, Skyra sat down while Hook and Dragas went off to play.
"So what do you think of my home?" I asked her, she looked at me and smiled.
"Better than how you said it." We both smiled and watched the water race down the fall.
"You know the water doesn't run with the river, there is a tunnel that the water leads to a cannon. The tunnel entrance lies right behind the water. My father called it Huya, Way Away. He said that if there was any trouble we can escape through there. When Bones attacked we ran to the mountain and hide in there. Hundreds of young children and adults hide inside of the cave entrance. Some of the dragons hideaway in the trees watching over us but we survived, only a few riders returned. My father, our leader wasn't one of them." I looked down at the water and reached for it. Touching its coolness, calmed me.
"I'm sorry for your lose, of your father and you people. When Bones attacked our home, he destroyed and burn our homes. I remember running around looking for my mother, the sky was burning with the blood of our riders. They would pick them off the ground and kill them in the air. My mother was one of them, she and her dragon hit the ground right in front of me. Her last words were telling me to run, so I did. I was a child, a child who listened to her mother's command." I looked at Skyra, I can tell she's feeling the same pain. I sit next to her and grip her hand. We both have seen the death of our loved ones by the claws of Bones.
"They both will die, die for their crimes," I whispered, Skyra gripped my hand in agreement.
"What's your plan?" She asked and I stood up. Looking at Dragas who laid in the trees to my right, I clenched my fists.
"I'm going to ride out to every clan and gather as many dragons as I can. I'm going to war with Bones." I could feel my blood boiling with rage as the memories flooded my mind. I felt a hand on my shoulder, looking to see Skyra.
"I'll fight beside you, I'll die for and beside you." It sounded like she was pledging herself to me.
"No one will die but Bones and his riders." She nodded, we both smiled.
