Much like the climb of Uykaio, Kiza and Sādā phula would climb the mountain to find the Snow Dragon that was meant for her. Prathama mā had told Kiza that her friends were spotted towards the foot of the mountain, she told her that if and when they arrive they'll be told where the Ḍrāgana rānī was going. Dragas was with them but he wasn't allowed to help, he knew that. It was the same right of passage as Kiza took and he wanted Sādā phula to feel that same feeling Kiza felt. The people called Dragas, Kālōṭi or Black One so the name fits very well. So after getting the supplies they need, the climb begins. Along the way, Kiza asked questions to Sādā phula who later told her to just call her Sādā, this meant they were already becoming friends. As Kiza asked questions, Sādā does the same. Both had never left home, first Kiza and soon Sādā will see the world for the first time. Needless to say, Sādā was very excited.
When they set up camp for the first night, Dragas wouldn't have them freeze so he provided a very warm fire. As they were eating some meat, Sādā gazed upward towards the starry, night sky. Kiza could see her sadness in her eyes.
"Sādā, what happened to your family?" Kiza asked her, knowing it would be painful for her. But it was Kiza's way of guiding her.
"They were killed. I was an only child, my mother could have no more after me. My father was not unhappy by that, he was very happy to have just me and mother. He said that mother was like the moon while he was the sun, he called me Chōṭa tārā. It means Little Star. My world was perfect until it was set ablaze," she stopped and looked down at her hands, Kiza could see she was reliving her memories. Kiza waited for her when she was ready. Sādā took a breath before continuing. "The Hāṛa ēka came at night and he brought with him, death and blood. I am sure that we were not the first and so we were never to be the last. He took my Moon first, she was lost in fire. I last my Sun after, he lost in blood. My grandmother took me in, she raised me until now. She was the one who gave me my name of White Flower, for even after Battle I was still pure." She looked up and whipped away the tears. "What did the Hāṛa ēka take from you?"
Kiza looked out at the dark night. She narrowed her eyes as she too relived memories.
"Bones took away my Father and many of my people. I was the last one to ever speak to him, I was the last one to see him, the last one to feel his touch." Kiza's gazed burned as hot as the flames in front of her. "Bones took away my very innocence. My child self-died. I became a warrior after that night." Sādā had actually shivered under her powerful gaze, Kiza lost her world as a child, it died with her father. They spoke no more of it as they went to bed.
The next morning they began climbing again. Sādā and Kiza could feel they were getting closer. Kiza soon couldn't go any further, she felt so tired and it was strange to her but she couldn't fight against it and had to rest. Sādā nodded her head as they set up camo early, Kiza quickly fell asleep leaving Sādā to wander around. When she did something came from around the mountain and she froze the moment she saw him.
"Child of White, have you come for red?" Sādā looked at him, hearing his voice in her head. Hearing his question caused her to shake her head. "Then if not red, why come in search of white?" She only smiled as she looked up at him, her eyes spoke truer words.
"I've come to set us all free from Hāṛa ēka and to bring the world back to white." He looked down at her and nodded his head.
"Then White shall fight grey and bring peace." He reached down as she reached out her hands, holding onto him they begin to glow in brightness.
Kiza was suddenly awakened, she quickly sat up and looked around. Dragas was now on his feet seeing the bright light, he was ready to fight it if he must. But they were not to be a battle, for when Sādā came over the hill with a white dragon following her. She came in front of Kiza and kneeled, the dragon bowed his head.
"White fights for you."
~~~~~~Two chapters in a row are good enough for one night, I'll be trying to post more tomorrow for sure. How is this chapter so far? How's the book? Oh and yes, Kiza technically did die in the last chapter, just thought I should put that out there ;D
