Eventually, we swayed in one spot again. She laid her head in the crook of my neck as I tightened my arms. Our bodies were pressed up against each other and it excited me and gave me this feeling of rightness. I didn't want to admit it to myself... but I think I really liked her. This was a totally new and foreign concept for me. Camren didn't quite seem like she was that way, especially at school.  But she was awfully intimate in the small moments that no one else saw. I'm not sure which part of someone defines their life more... the seen or the unseen?

"I can't go home tonight," She said slowly. I was not expecting that.

"Why not?" I pulled away enough to look at her face.

"I'm decently hammered on a school night, and my mom would be pissed if I came home like this." She took her hands away from my neck and pushed away enough to take out her phone and look at the time. "Shit. I need to figure out what the hell I'm doing." She stared at my face for a moment then said, "What the hell am I doing."

I wasn't sure if she was only talking about the drinking situation or something else. The thought made my heart flutter. "Don't worry about it, Cam. I'll just take you home with me. Just text your mom and tell her you're spending the night."

"Really, I don't want to be a nuisance tonight."

"Cam... you'd never be a nuisance. Seriously, it's not a problem." She texted her mom quickly then turned around to look at Ash and Spencer. Over the course of our dance, Spencer had stolen Ash's pillow and pushed her to the floor. Ash was happily sprawled on the floor, still fast asleep. "Should we wake them?" I asked Camren.

"Nah, but acshually, I'm kinda tiiiired." She slurred a little through her words.

"Okay, let's get home. My mom and sister are asleep or at least in bed by now so we should be good." We moved up to the front of the room to grab our stuff. As we walked to the entrance of the house, we passed the kitchen. Camren saw the vodka bottle still sitting on the counter. She ran for it before I even knew what was happening. By the time I realized what she was doing, she already took a hefty swig straight from the bottle.

"Damn it, Camren!" I whisper yelled as I chased her and the vodka through the kitchen. She put the bottle down after taking one more swig.

"I mean hey if I'm. If uh... If I'm gunna be D-runk, then I'm gunna make suuure it lasts!" She was going to have a massive hangover tomorrow. I finally got her through the front door and got her in the car. She got a little entertaining when I leaned over her from the outside of the car to put her seatbelt on.

"Bri..." She said seriously. It made me stop what I was doing, worried something was wrong. "Why are you soooo close? I mean, I really don't mind it. You can come a little closer, I love cuddling..." She broke off into a fit of giggles as my face reddened and my heart pounded. I put her seatbelt on as fast as I could, then closed the door.

I sent Ash a quick text telling her that I took care of Camren and thanked her for the fun evening. On the way home Camren played some songs that are easy to sing with over the cars Bluetooth. She played "A Thousand Miles" and even did the head shaking from White Chicks. I was laughing the whole way home.

We got home and before I could get to the other side to help Camren out, she opened the door and stumbled out, tripped, and then fell on her ass. Honestly... I was just impressed that she managed to get her seatbelt off. Instead of getting up, she just laid down on the ground and stared at the stars. I stared at her. She was so goddamn beautiful... and drunk.

Eventually, I was too cold to keep waiting for her to get up, so I bent down so that my face was directly over hers. "Whatcha staring at Cams?"

"You, obviously. Dumbass," She chuckled. "Now move your face so I can look at the stars. I love stars," She sighed contentedly. I couldn't help but laugh.
