"Jack!" Mark called out, trying to mask his anxiety.
The Irishman looked back, almost in surprise, "Hey, Mark."
"What happened Friday night?" He paused for a moment, "where did you go?"
Jack stared off for a moment, thinking if an excuse the other would believe. "My mom called me, she was worried about where I was. I'm sorry," he softly smiled with sad eyes.
I knew he wouldn't just leave me.
"It's okay, you big goof," Mark smiled big, almost instinctively kissing the other, but he realized they weren't alone.
Do we really still have to hide our relationship? So what if they hate us! If we love each other, we will be fine, I'm sure.
But I've been wondering lately: does he still love me?
