Chapter 4

It's been 3 weeks since me and my dad had an argument and things have gotten so much better.

We were sat on the sofa watching free willy it's my favourite film so I made my dad watch it with me.

"Hey dad?"

"Yeaa sweetie?"

"Can we go camping?"

"Um maybe"

"Pleeeeeeaseeeeee!"

"Ill think about and Reanaa I need to talk to you about something"

"What?"

"You need to pack tomorrow were going to Tennessee for a lockdown"

"OMFGHJDKFKJDJDJXJSJS! YOU SERIOUS!"

"Yea"

"OMG I get to go on my first investigation with the best dad ever!"

"Um about that... you won't actually be investigating on this lockdown your just gunna stay at the hotel"

"But why?"

"Because its dangerous and I don't want you getting hurt"

"Oh but it's alright to leave me in a hotel on my own for a night"

"Well want me to find you a babysitter?"

"No!"

"Well then"

"Please dad"

"No now get to bed its late"

"Fine"

I slowly made my way upstairs and it ready for bed I will make my dad change his mind. I have ways haha.

"REANAA GET UP WE GOTTA LEAVE SOON"

I could hear my dad yelling from the corridor. I could hear his footsteps getting closer to my room then he came inside.

"Come on Reanaa you need to get up sweetie"

"If I get up can I go on the lockdown with you guys?"

"No"

I sighed and got out of bed and pushed my dad out the room it was worth a try I thought.

"YOU BEST NOT BE GOING BACK TO BED!"

I heard my dad shouting from outside my door.

"Noooooo now why would I do that then I wouldn't be able to go on the lockdown with you"

I heard him sigh then walk off down the hall.

"Reanaa you ready sweetie Billy's in the van with Aaron waiting for us"

"Ooooo that means you gotta get in the back haha and yeaa I am I think"

"Well if you've left something behind don't expect me to drive back"

"I won't you can just buy me it when were up there"

I walked out of the house and went to put my luggage in the car whilst my dad was locking up the house then I got in the back of the van I was right Aaron was in the front with billy.

My dad came in and sat next to me in the back he smiled at me whilst I gave him a glare hoping to make him feel guilty about not letting me go on the lockdown with him and hopefully change his mind.
