Heartache Central

This may trigger some people

Welcome to Heartache Central

Where our hearts are still beating

But barely

Welcome to a place where not all hope is lost

But one more crack

And it's gone

Here we have a a young girl

Barely three

She's lost her mother and father

Here we have an older one

Who's lover

Never loved her back

Here we have a small, black dog

Who was beat

And left for dead

Here we have a frail, old man

Who's family

Left him with nurses

And so, you see

Our hearts yearn

For something more

For something

To come save us

To pick us up, off the ground

Welcome to Heartache Central

Where we pray

Believers or not

Welcome to a place

Where hope is rare

But believe me

Hope is there
