Chapter 39:Defeat is Necessary for Victory

"It's for the sake of students like Clarice and Alice that you must continue to teach and set such a good example." advised Faragonda.
"Yes, you're right and another reason to face dangers like the Wizards of the Black Circle," added Bloom.
"Who are they anyway & what did they want?" inquired Tecna.

"It's an ancient story Tecna," informed Faragonda. "Ogron and the Fairy Hunters are from the Darkest time in the History of the Magic Dimension to face their magic you'll need to be even stronger than you are now. You will have to go beyond the enchantix stage. Girls you're journey to become Believix fairies start today. This book will show you the way, follow its teachings & your magical possibilities will be endless. Your journey will not be easy, but I believe in you girls."

They were standing in the hall of enchantments and Stella had joined them.
"We're ready for anything Headmistress Faragonda." responded Bloom.
"Then it's time I told you the story I hoped I would never have to tell again."

Meanwhile on Earth Selina retreated to the Forest of Flowers. The fresh air calmed nerves.

"Huh?" She gasped. "Who is there?"
It was laughter. A tiny laugh 😆.

Selina got up and followed the noise. She found vines hanging over a cave opening. She pulled back the vines and walked through.

"Hello! Hello who's there?"
She could only hear her own echoes.

Then she heard it again.
"Look down," said a voice. "I sensed your fairy magic. I'm the pixie of Wishes. My name is Wisteria."

"I'm Selina Fairy of Laughter."
She greeted. She held out her hand to the pixie. They shook hands and a bright gold light glowed when they touched. "
"I love your necklace it's beautiful."
"Thank you," said Selina. "Love your dress."
"You're so sweet," said Wisteria. "You are the first person I've been able to talk to in a long time."
"How come?" inquired Selina. "This place is awfully cold to live in."

"It was not always this way," said Wisteria. "Come I'll show you."
They walked up to a similar pixie town the winx were visiting in Gloomiwood. It was empty, & barren.
"Is this your home?" inquired Selina.
"Yes, it was. Once the dark wizards came and got rid of all the earth fairies most of the pixies left and went into hiding."
"Except you why didn't you leave?" asked Selina.
"I had hoped for a long that the Wizards of the Black jumped to a conclusion way too soon."
"It looks like you were right after all. There's still a fairy on her somewhere. I'm learning restoral spells from my Fairy Godmother I could try and heal that sad sapling."

Back at Alfea, the story telling session was finished.
"If we meet those four guys again, we're going to rewrite history and put them back in the past," said Stella.
"That will only happen if humans start believing in magic again," said Faragonda. "And even if it does the wizards will not be easy to do defeat."

"Well they did make one mistake," said Tecna.
"What revealing that we're still six weakling fairies?" commented Stella sarcastically.
"No, we know where they are headed. And it's earth; there's still one fairy left there so we know where to find them."

"Earth isn't exactly a small planet 🌍," stated Aisha.
"True, but Bloom you grew up there where do you think we should start??" asked Musa.
"I don't know where to start, but if there's a fairy in danger she'll need our help fast."
"We're all with you on that," agreed Musa.
"We need to pack; what Earth season is it again?" inquired Stella.
"Before you begin preparations; you may want to say Hello to some people who came a long way just to see you," informed Faragonda.
They were exiting the building and going out into the grassy courtyard.
Outside the gentlemen from Red Foundation they had met during their times at Alfea.

"Brandon," said Stella delightfully.
"Helia," sighed Flora.
"We couldn't get here soon enough," said Helia embracing her hug.
"We heard about the dark wizard attack on Alfea, " said Nebu.
"We wanted to get here sooner but,"
"All that matters is that you're here now," said Flora gently cutting Helia off.
"Oh Nebu; I missed you so much," said Aisha.
"Tell me Stella are those wizards really as tough as they say?"

"Not just tough, but terrifying, bad hair and scary," stated Stella.
"Well they're gone now so no worries," said."And all that matters is you guys won and they didn't."
"Oh yeah sure if you calling walking away from six fairies knocked on the ground helpless winning," corrected Musa sharply. "then I guess."
"No winning is when you can rise from defeat and plan victory with people who believe in you." said Riven.
"Really well said Riven, "Tell me did you come up with that on your own?"
"Yeah, how can you dis me like that," said Riven. "Okay Helia wrote it for me. You know he's better at saying things like that."
"Yep," said Musa.
"What's wrong Bloom?" inquired Brandon.
"Brandon isn't it obvious? She misses Sky." said Riven.
"I guess I'm getting use to it," said Bloom, "since his whole king in training thing started. He hasn't really had much time for me."
"He has a lot of responsibilities, protocols, Bloom." said Helia. "All that boring palace stuff."
"Yeah with all that stuff going on you would have to be really into someone to be able to get away and visit them," said Riven

Back to Selina she sat down on a fallen log in the special part of the Forest of Flowers 🌹🌺🌸💐🌷, and she closed her eyes 👀. In her mind she saw the sick sapling and felt her power grow stronger.
She opened her eyes and spoke. "Moonray of joy heal the plant before my eyes so that this part of the forest will once again thrive with life aplenty."
Silver light came from within her. And the young tree lost its burnt wood. It looked like it was healing.
"Get down," said Wisteria. " Duck!"
Selina did. The tree was growing faster than she expected.
"You're not centered because you have no clue where you are from?"
"How did you know Wisteria?"
"I'm the Pixie of Wishes Selina I know everyone's secret thoughts. I know you already had a close encounter with the wizards of the Dark circle. Yet they didn't seem interested in fighting you."
"I'm not from Earth 🌏," stated Selina. "I don't know where I came from. I think that's the reason why they didn't want to fight with me."
