Sampson could seem them enter the forest from the Observatory Tower.

"It's time for Roxy's test," he whispered to himself. He closed the door and left the Tower. He teleported outside into the Forest behind the tower. He knelt down and touched the ground. "Shadowquaker arise!"

The ground shook.
"I don't like this part of the woods," said Roxy. "Something seems off to me."

"Daphne take my hand!" exclaimed Thoren. Daphne did and Thoren pulled her out of the opening of the ground.

"That was definitely not the Legendarium," said Daphne after getting back to her own two feet.

"I agree and it doesn't usually happen." said Thoren. "We have to take a different path. This one is too dangerous."

"Something tells me this is not over," said Timmy. "Didn't Samuel say Roxy would be tested?"

"Shush!" exclaimed Roxy. "Do you not hear that?"

It was a loud thudding sound nearby.

"What is that?" inquired Thoren. "A gianormous flightless hawk?"

"No," said Roxy. "That's the Shadowquaker. I read about them in library before school began. Watch out for its attacks. It's shadow magic!"

She jumped out of the way by using her agility skills that Aisha had been improving with extra practice sessions.

"Timmy look out it's right behind you!" shouted Daphne. "Nymph of Sirenix! I call upon the Element of Water: Ocean Dome."

"Roxy can you not talk to it?" inquired Thoren

"I would try if I knew how," said Roxy. "It's not a real animal. It's a memory of someone's imagination."
It looked similar to Bloom's dragon but it was dark and black in color from the shadow magic that had developed.
