"Goldie, I missed you a lot," stated Maleena.
"I'm glad to be off that somewhat fun cruise. I wish you could have come along. It's such a shame that only 10 year olds and up are allowed on those weekly cruises. I think that's stupid."
Maleena laughed.
"You would say that anytime anywhere," she replied. "It was May 1st, and in 10 days Maleena would be ten years of age and for her birthday her parents planned to take her and Goldie to Milan Italy.
Maleena couldn't wait to see Milan, but that doesn't me she wouldn't be going anywhere else.
"That smells good," said Goldie.
"Come on in," said Maleena. "It's Mama's homemade banana bread 🍞."
"Good evening Mrs. Vallone," greeted Goldie.
"And to you," said Jasmine. "Why don't you show your guest your new play house out back?"
"Great idea, mother; love you. See ya for dinner." replied Maleena.
Jasmine laughed.
"I made you watermelon slushies."
"That's absolutely coolicious," said Goldie. "Maleena leave that for your father."
"I was just kidding," stated Maleena. Goldie shook her head. "Besides I would ask first before I took his drink."
