Aarinola'sThe most annoying and exasperating thing about highschool is tons of assignment they give. Sometimes i wonder if they think we students are inhuman, i mean its just too much.
"So that's all about today, and don't forgot to write your assignment because I want your books to be on my table at 8:00 AM tomorrow" Miss Precious, the biology teacher spoke in an authoritative voice.
I sighed, picking up my backpack to head towards the next class. Geography.
I had no idea why the ministry of education made biology and geography a general subject for all the three departments.
"Good morning Ma'am" I greeted, tiredly.
To say i was tired would be an understatement, last night was hell. I couldn't sleep because Elena she was murmuring, mumbling and kicking me with her legs while sleeping. Yes, she slept with me.
Through out the night, her noise kept me awake.
"You're one minute late" Miss Phoebe, the geography teacher reminded me.
I don't need a reminder you know.
"Sorry about that" I sighed
"Okay class! Today we're going to talk about Rocks, types of rocks and there mode of formation" Miss Phoebe took a piece of choke and began to write on the black board. "Before I start, I would like to test each and every one of you. And consider the question am gonna ask you as your first Test"
What the...? Test? Why are secondary teachers always this way?
"Aarinola stand up and answer this question" Miss Phoebe order. She was pretending to think of what to ask me. "What is rock? And list the type of rocks"
How the hell am i going to know thi--- oh!
"A rock is any mineral material of the earth. "Now i recall. My agric teacher has thought me this. Thank you Mr. Douglas "And the type of rocks are: Igneous rock, sedimentary rock and metamorphic rock" I ended with a proud grin, regaining all the strengths I had lost.
"Good! You just earn yourself a Ten Mark" Miss Phoebe sent me a small encouraging smile.
"David stand up and define geography, the scope of geography and importance of geography. I have thought you this or haven't I?" Miss Phoebe asked, and the whole class nodded, including me.
The question she asked was a first time. I could answer the question with my eyes close.
But it was so unfair, she asked me a question she haven't taught us.

The rest of the day went by so quickly.
Today was hectic, just full of questions and oral test. Almost all the teacher did gave us oral test with a tons of assignment.
"You look tired and your eyes are all puffy" Folashade complimented randomly. She's accompanying me home.
"I am tired" I said, emphasising the word 'tired' "Elena made me go shopping with her" I sighed, recalling the memory of last night. We came back late and still she made my night sleepless and restless.
"Who's Elena?" Folashade asked with arched brows.
"She's a friend of Jason" I answered, simply.
"What-- wait, the two of you went shopping?" Folashade asked, unbelievably. "Together with Jason?" She asked again, as if she hasn't heard a word I said.
