"Moni! Wake up! We've got things to do!" I wake up to my grandpa screaming at me. "Ugh." I see a digital alarm clock next to me that says 6:47. "Wait just a minute!" I exclaim to myself. I realize I'm in a room. Last night was such a blur for me. I don't even remember how I got here. Last thing that isn't blurred out is the stupid navigation repeating the same annoying directions.

Once I'm dressed I head out my door into this long narrow hallway. I see a bathroom to my right. The door has an M on it to represent that its, apparently, my bathroom. When I open the door, I see all kinds of makeup and hair care supplies. I think I just died in went to heaven. I start the shower and once done I dry off, and put my clothes on. My black muscle tank tee and burgundy skinny jeans are hanging from the doorknob. Sighing, I walk over towards it, put it on, and head to the hair care items on the counter. I brush my wet hair until there aren't any rat near tangles then I search for a hair dryer. Looking through the drawers I find one. There is a blue customized hair dryer that has my name in sliver on the left side of it. After 5 minutes my hair is some what straight. I don't bother to straighten out my waist length brown hair I just decide to skip that and begin to do makeup.

When I get done I exit my heaven and head to the end of the hallway. There is a spiral staircase awaiting for me to be clumsy an fall down it. I tightly hold on the the smooth silver railing and, carefully, walk down the stairs. They end off into the living room which connects to the kitchen. I smell pancakes. "You're finally awake kiddo! I made you pancakes! Eat up because I've got to get to work and you've got school." School?!

"Wait a minute? School?"

"You heard me right. You've got you have one more week of school left. Then you begin your summer!"

"And I have to go?"

"Yes you do. Eat up. I'm going to go get ready."

He exits the kitchen leaving me with a plateful of chocolate chip pancakes. I start to head my way to the dinning room table and sit down quietly by myself. Lost in the view of New York City, I realize my new life will be starting soon.

After I'm done eating my pancakes I hear Gramps exclaiming "Hurry up! We're leaving right now! Your phone and backpack are on the couch!" I see him walking towards the door and I start to run to the couch to grab my things. My school supplies were scattered and the only thing in my backpack was my phone and headphones. Running towards the door, I head down the stairs to the car.

Once I get in the car he starts to speed. Thank god that the navigation system isn't on! We pass these two colossal towers and I gaze at how tall they are. "That's where I work at," My grandpa says, "on the 106th floor. It's called the World Trade Center but also known as the Twin Towers. There was a-" "I really don't need a history lesson while I'm on my way to school." I say while interrupting him. He looks over at me and continues driving.

On the whole way to my destination there was an awkward silence until we saw the school. It was huge! It looked more like a university! The sign said,

"Ocean Bay School. The most educated middle school & high school in all of New York!" Wait... Middle school & high school! This can't be good...
