This piece took me over two years to finish, but I am so glad that I did, it meant a lot to me. I hope it could mean as much to some of you, and thank you more than I can say to people who started reading this in 2016 and picked it right back up as I was finishing it now. I love you guys.
If you are ever struggling with anything and need to talk, I am here. If you ever don't know how to say something, don't let that stop you from seeking someone out - the words won't always be perfect, but oftentimes they can be more than enough.
I wanted to share at least the one source that I heavily used to help me with writing Narcissistic Personality Disorder; I had other sources that I used two years ago to find the disorders mentioned in the Prologue for the other characters, but I unfortunately was not in the habit of saving sources then. I will write other Recover stories with the characters and illnesses I introduced here, but not very quickly I imagine, simply because I want to write a few headcanon and fluff shorts for a little while, and I have two large stories from a few years ago as well that I want to finish ("Just A Cough", an AmeCan about the US AIDS epidemic, and "King's Pet", a DenNor so loosely based off of the Kalmar Union that it essentially is just me playing with the Danish monarchy idea instead). But as always, let me know if there is something else that you want me to write, and I am always here, and I promise to be here a lot more than I have been recently.
