Chapter 5:Team Hanzo's Test

So after learning about Tenma's past how will the girls let this information effect their choices when Tenma visits. Also thank you guys for the support on this story I'm glad to know I'm not a one story pony when it comes to writing.
Asuka was nervous beyond belief, Tenma was visiting them today after class and training. After tormenting him for so long will they honestly be able to get him to forgive them. Kiriya sensei told them that Tenma wasn't someone who held a grudge, but there is a first time for everything right. It wasn't just her Katsuragi was checking her how she looked every five minutes, Ikaruga was pacing back and forth nervously, and Yagyuu was playing with her eyepatch for the hundredth time in the past half hour. Although Asuka found it strange that Hibari was nowhere to be found, maybe she was just preparing in her room or something.
Tenma just finished getting dressed into his casual clothes after taking a quick shower at his shack. After looking himself over in the mirror one last time Tenma headed for the front door. As he opened the door he did not expect to find a head of pink hair and clover shaped pupils to greet him on the other side. "Hi Tenma!" Hibari said a sing song voice as she hugged him tightly. Tenma couldn't help but smile at the pink haired girl as pat her on the head. "It's nice to see you to Hibari, but what are you doing here?" Tenma asked the smiling girl. "I thought I could walk with to our dorm!" Hibari said nervously. Tenma smiles and offered her his hand which she hesitantly took.
Tenma could tell Hibari was upset about something; the question was what was it? "Hibari what's wrong you seem nervous." Tenma said slightly worried. The pinked haired girl's eyes darted around before landing on Tenma. "C-could you train me!" Hibari nearly shouted. Tenma was taken aback, why Hibari want him to train her. "I asked Rin sensei and she said it was fine as long as you were okay with it." Hibari said and looked at him hopefully. "It's just that during the battle royal I could help at all, I just want to be able to fight like everyone else!" Hibari stated looking at Tenma with hope in her eyes.
Tenma was not expecting this but he knew that this obviously meant a lot to Hibari so how could he refuse? "It would be my honor to teach you the techniques of the Thunder clan." Tenma said with a smile. Hibari was overjoyed not only did he agree, he was also going to teach her Thunder style as well. "Although first we should focus on improving your hand to hand combat skills first, so let's start with that tomorrow." Tenma added to his first statement. Hibari hugged him as her way of say thank you to him. With that the two of them made to the front door of the mansion like dorm and opened the front door.
The first thing Tenma noticed when he entered the dorm was something grabbing his butt. He looked back to find the culprit to be unsurprisingly Katsuragi. "I cannot tell you how long I've been wanting to do that!" Katsuragi cheered as she continued to cop a feel. Tenma swatted her hand away before grabbing her shoulders and pushing her against the wall. "Alright you've had your fun now it's my turn!" Tenma said with an evil grin. Katsuragi was both terrified and turned on right now was he really going to grope her? As Tenma's hand slowly made it's towards her she closed her eyes and waited to be touch. What she got was a flick on the nose. "Just kidding!" Tenma said with a smile as he walked off. "You tease!" Katsuragi yelled which just made Tenma laugh harder.
As Tenma made his way to the living room he bumped into a familiar pair of white twin tails. "Hello Yagyuu." Tenma said gently as he looked into the eye-patched girl's eye. Yagyuu fidgeted around nervously before making eye contact. "I-I'm s-sorry for treating you so horribly!" Yagyuu said in a panicked tone. Tenma looked at the girl with a worried expression. Tenma hesitated before gently wrapping Yagyuu in a hug. "It's okay Yagyuu there's no need to be nervous around me." Tenma said as he pet her head. Yagyuu stopped shaking, which Tenma took as a sign to back up and continue to make his way through the dorm. Yagyuu watched him go with a blush on her face.
        Ikaruga was still freaking out over what she was going to say to Tenma. After everything her and the girls put him through could he really forgive them? Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps heading in her direction. Ikaruga looked up only to Tenma standing there in the same outfit he wore the day he returned from the hospital. "Hello Ikaruga how are you today?" Tenma asked in a gentle voice as if he were speaking to a child. Ikaruga was at a lose for what she should do in this situation, how does she respond. All of a sudden the image of a blonde haired child crying his eyes out pops in to her head. Ikaruga can feel the tears coming and she can't stop them.
Tenma did not expect Ikaruga to collapse to the ground in tears but there it was right in front of him. Tenma gently made his way over to her and knelt down in front of her. He placed a hand on her face and got her to look at him. "It's okay Ikaruga it's all in the past now let's just work towards a better future okay?" Tenma said as he pulled the girl into a hug and let her cry her heart out. "W-why are you being so nice after everything we did?" Ikaruga asked gently as she shakes in his arms. "My mother believed everyone deserves a second chance and should be forgiven." Tenma states as he gave her one last tight squeeze and helped her up. "Asuka is down the hall." Ikaruga said as she composed herself. "Thanks princess." Tenma said as he smiled at her, which made her blush as he walked away.
It was now or never, Asuka knew this but she couldn't help but be nervous. Tenma entered the room and looked at her; something in Asuka snapped as she launched herself at him and wrapped her arms around him. "P-please forgive me. I'm so sorry I didn't know how hard your life has been!" Asuka wailed as she held Tenma as if her life depended on it. Tenma began to gently pat her head as comforted her. "All is forgive Asuka, the past is the past, the present is what matters now." Tenma said soothingly as he continued to pet her head. Asuka eventually calmed down and looked up at Tenma. He smiled that beautiful smile of his; Asuka couldn't help herself the boy her team loved just forgave them, so she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
After everyone calmed down the group spent the rest of the day chatting and goofing off. Hibari even told the other girls about the special training Tenma was going to give her, which made the other girls happy knowing their friend was trying to get stronger. Tenma offered that Yagyuu could stay close by to make sure Hibari was safe, but she said that she trusted him with Hibari. Eventually it was time for Tenma to head back so he wished the girls goodnight and started heading home. Tenma couldn't help but smile things were looking up for him.
