Chapter 10:Attack of the Shinobi Family

Now then this is where things will start to get real! Expect more battles and maybe a few surprises here and there. So what does the future hold for the young Shinobi? Let's find out.
Miyabi woke up in a cold sweat as she panted trying to calm down. Ever since her last conversation with her father she's been having nightmares ever since. At first she was able to ignore them and just continue on with her day like everything is fine, but now the lack of sleep is starting to take its toll on her and her team is starting to notice. Her nightmare always consisted of the academy up in flames and an army of masked Shinobi killing anyone trying to escape. "It's just a dream Miyabi there's nothing to be afraid of. Everything is fine nothing bad is going to happen." Miyabi thought to herself as she got up to get ready for the day. Miyabi felt rather sluggish, this being the fourth day she has gone without a goodnight's rest.
After the all the normal students left for home Miyabi and her team prepared to set up the training equipment outside since they were training outside today. Miyabi may still feel like absolute shit due to lack of sleep, but at least getting to spend time with Tenma will make her feel better. As they set up the equipment Miyabi began to stubble over her own feet and began to fall. Before she could hit the ground Tenma caught her and held her in his arms, this caused Miyabi to blush. "Miyabi I think it would be best if you don't train today and just go to bed." Tenma said in a concerned tone. Miyabi really wished that Tenma wasn't as attentive as he normally is, it's like nothing gets by him. "I agree with Tenma, Miyabi this isn't good for your health, so you are forbidden from training today." Rin said as she told Tenma to take her to a bed.
Miyabi couldn't help but blush, Tenma was carrying her like she was a princess. "Tenma you don't have to worry about this I'm fine! Besides it will take to long to carry me back to the dorm." Miyabi said trying to get out of this situation. "Don't worry I'm taking you back to my shack! You can rest in my bed, while I go back to train!" Tenma said with a smile. Miyabi couldn't help but blush, she was going to sleep in his bed? Tenma finally opened the door to his shack and took Miyabi to his bedroom. After he gently set her down Tenma tucked her in. "Now you need to get some rest, so just sleep okay?" Tenma said before he left her alone to get some rest. Miyabi snuggled into the covers, which had Tenma's scent, Miyabi felt safe in his bed so she had no problem drifting off to sleep.
Tenma returned to the training ground and joined the others and began to train like the rest of them. After training for about two hours, before they were interrupted by a rain of Kunai. Everyone deflected and dodged the the kunai as they looked in the direction that they came from. What they saw shocked them all, in front of them was an army of over a hundred masked Shinobi readying to attack them and in the lead was a middle-aged White haired man with a chiseled face and scar over his left eye. "Hello students of Hanzo Ultimate Academy! I am Gensho the leader of the Hell Kaiser Shinobi Organization! I'm here to pick up my traitorous daughter Miyabi, and I'm also here to pick up the children of a coworker of mine. Those children would be Imu and Murasaki, so why don't you make it easy and hand them over!" Gensho commanded as his army of Shinobi leveled their weapons.
Tenma marched forward so he stood in front of the girls. "Like hell we're going to hand them over after you and your coworker disowned your daughters and called them ungrateful whores. If you want to get to them your going to have to go through me you bastard!" Tenma shouted in rage as he stared down Gensho. Gensho began to laugh a very deep and sinister laugh after hearing Tenma's speech. "I like your style kid! If you don't mind me asking who are you?" Gensho asked as he smiled evilly at Tenma. "Tenma Watanabe is my name and I'm going to kick your ass you sorry excuse for a father!" Tenma shouted before he drew Kasharashi and pointed it a Gensho. "Imu, Murasaki I want both of you to head to my shack and stay with Miyabi. I'm going to summon my Shinobi barrier to trap them so the rest of us can fight them off! He's after you two as well so it would be best if you don't fight!" Tenma said as he ordered the sisters to retreat, they would have argued if it wasn't for the look in Tenma's eye killing any argument.
           After Imu and Murasaki started to retreat the remaining students and Rin Shinobi transformed and Tenma summoned his Shinobi barrier. The girls once again found themselves in the Storm temple, only this time they were fighting with Tenma instead of against him. The Hell Kaiser Shinobi littered the rooftops of the temple as they began to charge Tenma and the girls. Tenma jumped into the center of their ranks and began hacking and slashing everyone of the poor souls that were in his way. The girls could tell that Tenma was on a war path to Gensho and nothing was going to stop him. The teams split up respectively, except for Ryoubi and Ryouna who gave Tenma covering fire due to three of their members were not present.
Tenma has only one goal in mind and that was to get to Gensho and kick his sorry ass after he had the nerve to hurt his friends. The Hell Kaiser Shinobi tried to stop him, but anyone who dared to step in the range of his giant blade was not long for this fight. Although Tenma had to admit he felt more confident with Ryoubi and Ryouna backing him up with their covering fire. After cutting down a good fifty masked Shinobi Tenma finally reached Gensho. "So you made it boy! I must admit your strength is impressive, you just walked through an army of elite Shinobi like it was nothing!" Gensho said with that sinister smile of his. "Elite Shinobi my ass, those guys barely qualify as punching bags! Next time you decide to invade our school bring your A game!" Tenma said slightly annoyed at Gensho wasting his time.
                Gensho had to admit he liked this kid! It was very rare to see someone so young, yet so powerful, plus his purple eyes seemed to crackle with lightning when he was angry. "Well now that your here let's begin shall we?" Gensho said as he drew a katana with thorns, similar to Miyabi's but slightly bigger. "Bring it old man!" Tenma responded as he readied Kasharashi. The two rushed forward as their blades met with sparks flying, Gensho managed to hook Tenma's sword on one of his blades thorns and sent it flying out of his hands. Gensho them slashed his blades sideways in hopes of cutting Tenma, but the boy dropped under his blade. "Thunder Style Palms of Rolling Lightning!" Tenma shouted as he slammed his lightning charged hands into Gensho's chest.
           Gensho was knocked back by Tenma's attack, but quickly righted himself and prepared for his next move. To his surprise Tenma was no longer standing in front of him. "Sword Style Giant's Clever!" Tenma shouted as Gensho looked up at him. "So he used that thunder technique to put some distance between us, then he launched into the air to retrieve his sword? Not bad kid!" Gensho thought as Tenma fell towards him. Tenma brought his blade down in a mighty downward thrust, which once again clashed with Gensho's sword. "Ha ha ha ha! Kid you might actually put up a good fight! Tenma was it? I'll have to remember your name!" Gensho boomed as he knocked Tenma away with his sword. The two Shinobi continued to clash.
                Yumi did not expect these Shinobi to be this difficult to defeat! It seemed like for every few they cut down another twenty took they're place! She continued to slash them down with her fans, while Yozakura covered her back with attacks from her gauntlets. Shiki was darting around cutting down as many of them as she could with her scythe. Unfortunately Murakumo and Minori we're separated from the rest of them. Murakumo and her wolves were doing their best to cleve their way through the enemy Shinobi, while Minori gives her cover with contents of her bucket. Although they were being overpowered and they wouldn't last long. The two girls collapsed from a powerful attack from the group of enemies they were fighting, the Shinobi raised their weapons ready to end it.
                "Nooooo!" Yumi screamed as she watch the weapon come down on her friends. Although before it could make contact bolts of lightning rained down from the sky and completely fried the enemy Shinobi. "What just happened?" Minori asked confused at what just happened. "It must be Tenma willing the storm in the Shinobi barrier to assist use in this fight." Rin said as she arrived to support the Gessen Team. Yumi couldn't believe it, Tenma was willing the Shinobi barrier to protect them? He really did care about them, the though caused Yumi to blush. "No time to stand around we need to go back up the other girls!" Rin said as she ushered the girls to follow her. Murakumo helped Minori to her feet before she started to rejoin her team. "Thank you Tenma! I love you so much, though I don't think you could love someone like me." Murakumo thought as she continued on her way.
Miyabi did not expect to be woken up from probably the best sleep she's had in weeks, especially by two of her teammates. "Miyabi stay alert your father is here to take you back by force!" Imu said as she checked all the windows in Tenma's shack. "He's also here to take use back to our father!" Murasaki added as she locked the doors. "Wait where is Tenma and the others?" Miyabi asked as she tried to get her friend's attention. "He locked your father and his army in his Shinobi barrier so he and the others could protect us." Imu said as she sat down at the table in the main room. Miyabi was horrified, Tenma was fighting her father and Hell Kaiser's? "We gotta go help them!" Miyabi shouted as she burst out the front door. Imu and Murasaki followed their leader in hopes of calming her down.
Tenma was once again thrown back by Gensho's attack into the wall of the temple. This had been going on for the past hour, the two Shinobi had been trading blows nonstop with neither showing signs of slowing down. "You really are a stubborn one aren't you kid? Most people would have given up by now!" Gensho said as he looked at the boy in front of him. Tenma's Shinobi fear was completely ripped at the sleeves and part of his hair was sticking out of a hole on his headpiece. "Thunder Style Crackling Dragon Assault!" Tenma shouted as the five lightning dragons rushed Gensho and chopped down on his body. "Ninja Art Thunder God's Clever!" Tenma said as he summoned a ball of electricity and placed it in the hole on the end of his sword's blade. Tenma's blade was covered in crackling electricity as it doubled in size and glowed like lightning.
          Tenma rushed forward and delivered an uppercut slash that launched Gensho into the air. Tenma then jumped so he was level with his opponent and began unleashing a flurry of slashes with his still super charged blade. Finally he gave one final downward thrust that sent Gensho slamming into the temple roof, forming a crater in it. Tenma landed gently on the temple and looked at Gensho who was struggling to stand. "Hahahahaha! Kid you really are something else! It has been a long time since someone has been able to knock me around like this!" Gensho said as he stood. Gensho's entire battle gear was completely torn up and he was bleeding in multiple areas. "Now let's get serious shall we?" Gensho said as he shot dark energy at Tenma, knocking him back once again.
          Miyabi has transformed and began hacking away at the Shinobi barrier in hopes of getting in. "Miyabi you can't break a Shinobi barrier! Just give it up!" Imu shouted at her friend, she Murasaki had transformed just in case any Hell Kaiser Shinobi hadn't been caught in the barrier. "No I can't let him die to my father! I've already lost to many people I love, I'm not losing Tenma!" Miyabi shouted as she continued to attack the barrier. The sisters looked at their friend with downcast expressions, they never seen Miyabi this broken. "If you would like to get into that Shinobi barrier, I would be more then happy to help." A male Shinobi said as he approached the three girls.

(He looks like this except with dark brown hair and Tinted goggles on his eyes. Also his weapon is a big double bladed battle axe.)
           Miyabi whipped around to face the new arrival. "Who the hell are you?" Miyabi asked as she pointed her sword at the stranger. "I'm here to help, now you can trust me and help your friend or you can stay out here and struggle. What is your choice?" The goggle wearing Shinobi asked as he looked at them. "Fine please help us." Miyabi said as she put up her hand to stop any protests from her teammates. "Very well! Earth Style Sinkhole Transport!" The axe wielding Shinobi shouted as he placed his hands on the ground. Suddenly Miyabi felt herself sinking into the ground along with Imu and Murasaki. "Oh and when you see Tenma would please give this to him?" The axe wielding Shinobi said as he tossed a letter to Miyabi with a strange seal on it.
        Tenma was really starting to get sick and tired of this, seriously his guy was stubborn! Tenma continued to lock blades with Gensho as they struggled against one another for dominance. "Gotta admit your pretty strong for an old timer!" Tenma said with enjoyment, he wouldn't admit but he was have fun right now. Gensho simply laughed in response before summoning a dark tentacle to grab Tenma's leg and throw him into the temple wall again. "Thunder Style Bolt Kunai!" Tenma shouted from the smoke caused by his impact, suddenly dozens of lightning charged Kunai shot towards Gensho. Gensho was able to deflect most of them, but three hit their mark. "Thunder Style Shocking Buzzsaw!" Tenma shouted as a giant, serrated disc of lightning formed in the palm of his hand. Tenma threw it as it cut through the roof of the temple before hitting Gensho square in the chest as it sent him flying.
          Asuka was worried about Tenma how; what was he thinking taking on Gensho alone? Asuka continued to slash through the evil Shinobi along with her team. Bonita and her squad were not far from them doing the same thing, and Ryoubi and Ryouna had joined them to give covering fire. Yuma's team along with Miss Rin had also joined them. Her thoughts were interrupted when two large shurikens shot by her, hitting a few evil Shinobi in the process. Imu then knock a bunch of the enemy off their feet with her staff. How did Imu and Murasaki get in here? Asuka decided to ask later and focus on the task at hand. The Shinobi students continued to fight off the army as they prayed that Tenma could finish it soon.
Tenma was starting to get tired, using that many thunder techniques was really taking its toll on him. "What's the matter boy getting tired?" Gensho taunted as he rushed Tenma once again. Tenma couldn't even lift his sword in time, but another blade stopped Gensho's. Tenma looked up to see Miyabi dueling her father. "So the little whore finally decides to show her face!" Gensho yelled as he knocked her away towards Tenma. "Miyabi let's attack him together!" Tenma said as he stopped her from flying into a wall. "Fusion Ninja Art Divine Storm!" Both Tenma and Miyabi said in unison. Miyabi's appearance changed to how she looked when she used Divine Judgement. Miyabi and Tenma locked hands as if they were dancing before being engulfed in lightning that took the shape of a bird. The lightning bird was then covered in armor made of Miyabi's dark energy, the bird shot towards Gensho at blinding speeds before cutting right through him.
Gensho collapsed from the powerful attack as Tenma and Miyabi landed behind him. Tenma almost collapsed, but Miyabi caught him. Before she could react two Hell Kaiser Shinobi appeared and took Gensho away as the Shinobi barrier faded away. The other girls came rushing over to Miyabi and Tenma. "I-Is Tenma okay?" Asuka asked as she looked at the unconscious boy who was no longer transformed. He had cuts and bruises on his arms and face, so he definitely looked worse for wear. "He's just worn out. After a good test he should be just fine." Miyabi said as she carried him back to his shack. "Tenma I'm so sorry this is all my fault! You suffered because of me! I promise I will make it up to you, for all that you've done!" Miyabi thought as tears rolled down her face. She continued to make her way to Tenma's shack as the sun set.
