Marichat: Fight Or Flight

Aurora POV

I was brushing my hair when I heard a knock on the door. I yelled for them to come in and I saw my brother and father walk in.

"Good morning Adrien, good morning father."

"Good morning Aurora. I was able to convince father to let us go to the park today with my friends if you want to come."

I stood and went to hug my father. "I'd love to! Thank you, father!"

"Since I am letting both of you go today, your schedules will be packed later on tonight. If you don't mind this then you may go."

I nodded and turned to Adrien. "Give me a few minutes and I'll meet you downstairs."

Adrien patted my shoulder and he and our father left my room. I grabbed my bag and phone off my desk. Before I started walking out, Plagg stopped me.

"Hey kid, could I get some Camembert before you head out?"

I rolled my eyes as I reached into my bag. "I will never understand why you like this crud. It's so gross!"

I squinted my nose while he ate it all in 5 seconds. "Because one person's trash is another kwami's dessert." I rolled my eyes as he put all of it in his mouth at once. after he finished it, he flew into my bag. As I walked in the hallway to meet my brother, I chatted with Plagg.

"Do you like being back with LadyBeatle?"

I sighed heavenly. I'm completely in love with that Bug and I already know he doesn't feel the same way. But it doesn't stop me from still having these feelings for him.

"Yea, it's really great." He chuckled and I stuck my tongue out at him. He did the same and we shared a laugh.

"So what do you think of your new teammates? The other Kitty and Bug?"

That one I really had to think. "They seem alright but the Ladybug girl seems to really have some problems with our identities. She clearly doesn't want them revealed."

"True, but maybe it's for a good cause. Like maybe she on the run and if everyone knew who she was the po-po would be on her immediately."

I rolled my eyes. "That's not it Plagg. She's just worried that if we know who the others are, it'll put us in danger. It's the exact same for Beatle. He's worried we will get hurt just because we wanted to see who the other was. Just another reason he doesn't want me." I mumbled the last part under my breath. I know Plagg heard it but he just ignored it and continued.

"True but what's the deal with the others on her team? They clearly want it too but she's practically forcing them to keep quiet to each other. They could easily tell each other who they are and keep it quiet from her but they haven't yet. Why?"

"Because they respect Ladybug's wishes. Plus, maybe when this is all over and we stop Hawk Moth, then maybe we can tell each other but for now, it's not gonna happen." Plagg tolled his eyes. I noticed we could see my brother. "Hide Plagg!"

He did what I said right as Adrien looked over at me. He waved as I got closer.

"You ready sis?"

I nodded and we went on our way. As we walked to the park to meet up with my brother's friends, I kept noticing that he looked like he was in dreamland. I kept staring at him till it finally came to mind: he was in love!

I fake cough to get his attention. When he looked at me I smirked. "So who's the lucky girl?"

He chuckled nervously. "T-there's n-no girl."

I decided to mess with him. "Oh, so it's a guy then? Well, I-"

"No! It's not a guy! It's just," he sighed, "the girl I love is with someone else and I know she's really happy so I don't wanna ruin that for either of them. I guess I'm just out of luck on this one."

I could tell he was really serious about it and I put my hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Adrien. She'll come around, or you will find someone just as amazing. You'll see."

"You really think so?" I nodded and he smiled. We hugged before continuing our walk.
