Marichat: Fight Or Flight

(Hey y'all! It's been a while since I've updated and I'm sorry for that but I wanted to catch up on the shows so I can have a better way to do the-ahem-story. In the previous chapters I know Carapace is the new name so I'll go through and fix that plus his powers when I can. Same with everything else that has gone on through the show. Most of the things will remain the same but just the stuff that we've seen on the show recently)

3rd pov

After lunch it was almost time to go home. Right now Mari had art class with Adrian, Nino and Rose. She loved art, especially since she'll get to draw new designs all throughout the class today since they had a sub.

Mari was deep in thought with her drawing, she was designing something for Chat. She wanted to make him something since she's never made anything special for him, or so she thinks.

Adrian was painting a picture but secretly was watching what she was doing. Stalker? No. Kitty wanting to check on his princess? Yup! He smiled slightly, not able to see the picture but knowing she was dedicated to drawing it based on how focused she was

Nino could see Adrian watching her. Normally he'd think that was freaky but right now he was extremely curious about something. He walked over to him and threw his arm around his neck like he always does. "Dude what's up with you lately? Friday you were like always and all of a sudden you can't stop staring at her."

Adrian jumped a little bit and chuckled nervously. "I don't know what you're talking about Nino. Can't a boyfriend wanna look at his girlfriend for a while?"

Nino gave him a look of suspension before shrugging it off. "Alright dude, but I'm watching ya." He teased but Adrian thought he was serious. "O-ok man." He chuckled slightly as Nino walked away again. Adrian sighed in relief when he was gone before he went back to watching his princess.

By that time Mari was completely finished with her work of art and was proud of herself. She smiled happily as she put her sketch book away and started to draw on the large poster paper she was given to work in with another student.

Adrian wouldn't say this out load but he'd admitted he wanted to work with her. He was given work with Alya and Nino since there was an uneven amount of people in class today.

He had finished his painting, pretty proud of himself. He glanced over to Mari and smiled with a small blush on his cheeks. He decided to show the teacher privately before taking it home, planning of giving it to her later as a gift. I hope she'll like it..

Marinette pov

As soon as I was done with my painting I showed the teacher. I couldn't believe how good it actually looked. I'm more of a clothing girl not an artist but this was kind of a shocker to me that I could make something like this. I wanted to show the others but they were still busy so I couldnt yet.

I placed the painting on the ground next to my leg so I wouldn't be clumsy and spill something on it. I took out my journal and began drawing in it, slightly daydreaming

Without realizing it I went the entire class period doodling. When I heard the bell I literally jumped, my book going into the air. I covered my head, knowing it was gonna hit me. After almost ten seconds I didn't feel anything and I looked up to see someone had caught it for me.

"I believe this is yours?" The teacher Mr Dupont spoke as he handed me my book back.

"Thank you Mr Dupont. Guess I was so into my drawings I didn't notice it was time till the bell startled me." I giggled nervously, a bit red from embarrassment.

"No worries. You have a real gift you know. Not only can you sketch and make clothing but you can paint too? You are a true artist."

I smiled with glee, happy someone said it. Man and I thought I was the only one who thought it wasn't so bad.. "thank you but I'm not as good as the others. I mean, Marc and Nathaniel are making their own comic books after all."
