Marichat: Fight Or Flight

(I know it's been over 3 months since I've updated this but I've been wanting to watch some of the shows for even more ideas. Imma have the rest of the book catch up to the episodes a little. So Mari is the new miraculous holder but imma keep how Chloe is now [her being nice and such] cause I have plans for what will happen to her, etc)

Surprisingly I was on time today. Even the teacher seemed surprised. Why was I finally able to come in on time? Well let's just say I had a nightmare and it didn't end well.

I shook my head and sighed a little, trying to keep my eyes open. It started to get harder and harder as the day went on. Eventually I decided that after my last class I would go sleep in the library since it's open late tonight and it's completely quiet. Plus my dad is cooking and we all know how loud he likes to hum and sing when he's cooking. I love him but geez he's loud.

I glanced to my phone and sighed. I still have 45 minutes left till I can go rest. -I guess I could pay attention for the rest of this class-  I sighed again as I laid my chin in my hand, glancing at the teacher, Miss. Bustier . I could see her mouth moving but I couldn't hear for a minute. After I shook my head I finally snapped into it and I could actually focus. -dang am I really that tired??-

"-overed in the story. Could someone explain the moral of the story?" She started to look around the class for a volunteer/victim. -crap are we still reading books? What is it this time?-

"Oo Oo!!" I looked over to see Rose waving her hand in the air like a crazy person. "It's about sacrificing for love! The story of how they ran away together to save her lovers life shows that she'll do anything for him! And she used her dying breath to say she loved him!" She started to get that 'lovey dovey' look in her eyes. "Sacrificing your life for someone else's is so beautiful!"

"Until you get yourself killed because of it." A voice interrupted. We all turned around to see her.

"Ah Lila, what can you tell us about it?" The teacher smiled

"What can I tell you? The story is about a princess who falls in love with a criminal who her father had on death row. She disobeys his orders and helps him escape. Then at the very end of it all when they think they're safe she's shot and killed by her fathers army men. He doesn't even try to help her, he moves her to a bush and runs off, leaving her to bleed to death."

"True but she loved him enough to go with him. He never convinced her to take the bullet or let him leave." Rose spoke

"That may be true but he could have left her out in the open so she could have been taken back and gotten better. Instead he basically hid her so she could bleed and die before anyone else could save her. It's all shit to me." Lila shrugged as she looked at her nails. I rolled my eyes and looked back to the front of the class

I could hear Rose bickering with Lila but I paid no attention. I was to out if it honestly to care about any of that crap. I still hate her; it's not even cause she's in love with Adrian. She's just a pain in the ass who acts like she's done everything her she hasn't done anything. Plus all the lies she's said makes everyone believe her and makes her look cool and popular.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my teacher clap her hands to calm everyone down. "Alright students. We only have a few minutes till the last bell but both of you were correct. Yes he was in fact a bad guy BUT, you didn't see what happened at the very end." She opened the book up and flipped to the last page. 'The princess and the masked criminal.' I saw the title read. -huh, haven't heard that before- "in the ending it shows her taking her last breath before the men could save her. But there was an extra page behind it that we haven't read yet."
