(How they look right now)The next morning came all to fast and Mari only got a bit of sleep. She could barely close her eyes longer than a minute without thinking about what could happen on the date the next day.
They both laid still for a moment, Adrian fast asleep and dreaming with a smile on his face.
Adrians dream: he was currently on top of the Eiffel Tower at sunset, Marinette standing next to him looking out over Paris. Her hair was down and blowing in the wind, her eyes closed. Adrian was in his Chat Noir form but he knew he couldn't wait to change back.
He took both her hands and stood in front of her, looking down at her with a smile on his face. He took her hands and brought them up to his lips, kissing them both. He brought them back down as he stepped forward, holding almost no space between the two of them.
"Did today make you happy?" He spoke, clearly and proudly. All he wanted was to make her happy
Mari smiles happily as she nodded to him. "It was one of the best days I've ever had.""Oh? What was the best day?" He asked curiously
Mari pauses, her smile only growing. "The day we had our first kiss."Adrian blushed wildly as his smile became bigger than his own face (sarcasm of course). He laid his forehead onto hers, both of them closing their eyes.
"I have to ask you a question, and I want your honest answer." He whispered, as if afraid to speak louder."What is it?" She spoke just as quietly, opening her eyes and pulling back slightly to look at him.
He pulled back as well and opened his eyes to look at her. His smile only grew as he got ready to speak. "May I have the honor of you being the first person to know my identity?"Mari's eyes widened, wide and bright. "Y-you want me to know you're identity? What if something happens, you could get hurt."
"I don't care about that right now." He spoke softly as he let go of her, stepping back. "I want us to be able to go public and to do everything together, as a couple."
After Marinette didn't say anything for a little while, the look on her face made Adrian automatically knew the answer.
He smiled as he lowered his head, closing his eyes. "Claws in." He spoke, transforming back into Adrian. He lifted his head and looked her in the eyes, seeing the surprise and joy on her face.
Are you... happy that it's me?" Adrian spoke quietly, hoping he didn't make her upset or disappointed.
***********************
After 20 minutes Adrian started to wake up. He groaned softly as he opened his eyes, flinching at the light coming in from the windows. Once his eyes got used to the light he moved his head to the side, thinking for a moment on how he wants to do the date.
He spends some time thinking about it and how to ask the question. He really wants to be able to live a normal life with her and still be a hero and he wouldn't admit it but he was scared she wouldn't approve. Obviously, he knew what happened in his dream couldn't happen but he was still nervous something similar could and would happen.
After a little while, he just shook the thoughts from his head, not wanting to get stressed out right now. He just wanted to spend time with Marinette before they'd go to school. He glanced over and realized she was still asleep and sighed a bit. He looked around, noticing Plagg laying on the blanket below him on his leg.
