-The Next Day-

Ayuko: (She walks downstairs to ride with Sora to school since Daiki had to go to the police station earlier. She opens the front door to Sora waiting outside. She walked forward and her foot crunched down on something. She looked down and saw a white lily.) [Internal Thoughts: Where do these keep coming from?]

Sora: Hi

Ayuko: Hey... sorry this is such a weird situation also why are you...here

Sora: It doesn't matter

Ayuko: I guess... you weren't here when Daiki left... were you?

Sora: I mean not yet, my mom drove him since he's kind of half blind as of now

Ayuko: Yeah, I don't understand why he's alive... he doesn't understand it himself...

Sora: What would you do if I told you to take a pill

Ayuko: What kind of pill?

Sora: A fix-it-all cure

Ayuko: What does that mean?

Sora: Exactly what it sounds like

Ayuko: I'm not hurt

Sora: Mental damage, you should just take it

Ayuko: no I'm good pills are the gateway to addiction

Sora: It's literally one pill...you'll take it eventually

Ayuko: Well then let eventually come I'm not taking it now get out my way I got to get to school

Sora: I can take you

Ayuko: On what

Sora: My bike...

Ayuko: Um like a moto?

Sora: (He shrugs) yeah

Ayuko: ok then...but please don't go too fast, I don't quite have a death wish

Sora: I know

Ayuko: (She hops on the back of his bike and they head to the school.)

Sora: How's your dad doing now?

Ayuko: He's half blind

Sora: ok, but... how is he with the fact that you shot his hus...ex husband

Ayuko: (frowns) I don't think the idea of death sits well with Daiki

Sora: What do you mean?

Ayuko: His family... even though they weren't dead

Sora: Maybe that's why death doesn't set well with him, I mean he never saw them again, right?

Ayuko: So you do pay attention to some of the stories I told you...

Sora: I payed attention to my dad's stories too before the incident

Ayuko: what happened

Sora: he lost his memories...

Ayuko: He lost his memories?

Sora: Yeah, most of them...

Ayuko: So did Daiki

Sora: (Goes silent)

Ayuko: What? Is it that bad?

Sora: No, just I don't...

Ayuko: Let's just change the subject I have something interesting to tell you

Sora: Ok

Ayuko: Have you heard the story of a man that found the cure for cancer?

Sora: yeah somewhat wasn't it a weed that no one cared until they found out what it cured.
