VOID: PART ONE

PART: 6

-THE NEXT DAY-

Hiro: (He wakes up with MIno's arm around him, this time Mino hasn't restricted his movement. Hiro hops out of the bed and go to the bathroom to clean up a bit. He walks over to his bag and finds his school uniform. He puts it on and grabs the notebook that was in the drawer. Hiro searches through and finds the gate code and the main door code. Hiro had already brought everything over from his Aunt's house including his bike which was now sitting right outside the castle. Hiro pulled out a clean sheet of paper from the bottom of the notebook and wrote "Mino, I've gone to class and I'll be back later in the day, Love Hiro" Hiro grabbed his school bag and began walking to the large doors. Hiro typed in the code and slipped out. He shut the doors behind him and hopped on his bike. Now that Hiro knew where he was, he knew where he was going. He rode his bike to Tsukuba High school. Hiro gets to his first class just before the first bell rings. He sits down and notices a white lily on his desk. He didn't know if it was malicious or simply that people thought he was dead. It had only been a week now since Hiro was gone, but the news of his family had surely spread. He crushes the flower into his bad and the teacher approaches him.)

Teacher: Hiro... no one thought you would come back, but it's good that your here! I'm so sorry about your losses. (She shifts through papers and places one on his desk)

Hiro: I'm glad to be here, but that's quite alright, there's nothing I can do about it now really, but I guess I kind of get a restart.

Teacher: Yeah, stick with the positives kid... where are you staying now?

Hiro: Uhhh, with my aunt, just until I turn eighteen

Teacher: That's good, if you meet me after school tomorrow, I'll help you catch up with all your missing work. YOu won't have to make up everything. (She goes back to the front of the class and begins teaching the lesson.)

(After a few classes, the lunch bell rings and students file out to the cafeteria. Hiro wanders off into the bathroom and addresses some of the wounds on his arms. He grabs clean bandages from his bag and replaces the old ones.)

Akio: (A boy walks into the bathroom and stops when he notices Hiro.) Wow, Hiro! Dude, you're actually alive.

Hiro: Haha barely (Hiro laughs uncomfortably)

Akio: Well, that's better than nothing, right? (Akio smiles with half his face.)

Hiro: Yea, I guess

Akio: You look hella rough dude

Hiro: Yea, I'm a little beat up (Hiro pulls down his sleeve)

Akio: Is that why you were hospitalized?

Hiro: WHat do you mean? (Hiro breaks eye contact)

Akio: Your arm...

Hiro: Oh, sorry, I have to go

Akio: Oh... okay, see you later dude

Hiro: (He walked out of the bathroom quickly to the point where he was practically running until he ran right into Izaya.)

Izaya: Hiro! You're back at school! Is that why you weren't at the hospital?

Hiro: Yeah, I left earlier today

Izaya: OKay, cool... next time call me though

Hiro: Well, hopefully there won't be a next time

Izaya: (Leans in and gives Hiro a quick kiss. Izaya's happy-go-lucky attitude shifted.)

Hiro: (Smiles) I'll see you later.

Izaya: (He smiled and kept walking, he still had remnants of blood on his teeth.)
