-Back at the hospital-

Hiro: (He got out of his car and headed up to Ayuko's room. He knocked and slipped inside.)

Ayuko: DAD IM STILL A VIRGIN!

Hiro: (He laughs) Good to know

Ayuko: I'M SERIOUS I DIDN'T LOSE MY V CARD I STILL HAVE IT HE JUST WAS THERE AND I WAS IN THE BED AND HE JUST WANTED TO TALK AND THEN HE JUST HOPPED IN THE BED AND WE JUST WENT TO SLEEP AND THEN YOU CAME IN AND YOU SAW AND AND...

Hiro: Calm down...I believe you Ayuko

Ayuko: Wanna check...I'm just messing with you I'm glad you believe me I would never give up something like that to a thot like him, but whenever I just look in his eyes and it's just us it's....(sighs) never mind

Hiro: It's not smart to fall in love with these people but when you do, it's hard to let go, don't get attached.

Ayuko: I'm not, but when he kissed me it was like the world stopped, I know he doesn't have any feelings for me, so I'm not giving him mine, but I just like being near him...

Hiro: That's...a...good thing, but I guess this isn't really my place to say anything anymore, you're not a kid and I can't keep you from these people, but-

Ayuko: what

Hiro: That doesn't mean anything internally

Ayuko: What are you talking about?

Hiro: Whatever weird shit that comes to my mind because I'm NOT going to say what I really want to say

Ayuko: Ok then we'll speaking of weird things, guess who stopped by...

Hiro: Uh, who?

Ayuko: Sora's dad

Hiro: What the hell did he have to say?

Ayuko: Nothing he just asked if I was ok and he asked about you oh and he wanted me to tell you something...

Hiro: Uh, okay

Ayuko: He said, "I remember everything now"...I asked him what that meant but he just said don't worry about it

Hiro: Bloody- okay...okay (A single tear runs down from his good eye and he buries his face in his hands.)

Ayuko: (Leaps up) Dad, are you ok

Hiro: Something, that would- (He screams in a monotone way) That w-would explain something... (He pulls at his sleeves and traces scars) Was Sora acting like... normal or at least how he n-normally acts? [Internal Thoughts: Something bad's about to happen, their planning. Nothing could reverse brain damage, right? Those pills didn't cure anything, but I'm still standing here.] What did AKio tell you?

Ayuko: Sora has been Sora and Akio tell me what?

Hiro: What did Akio tell you about those pills?

Ayuko: He said that they cure everything including deterioration of your body...

Hiro: Do you believe him?

Ayuko: well I told him no and that it wasn't the fountain of youth, but after almost getting beaten to death I healed pretty quickly so I don't know

Hiro: After getting shot in the head and living with the only real damage being loss of sight in one eye... he wasn't lying... this can't be real

Ayuko: Well let's not be in wonder mode and just be thankful we got it.

Hiro: (He laughs) And we got it from a father and son... great, but there still has to be a reason or maybe I'm crazy and everything that happened was all in my head... Getting off track, am I? (He laughs again)
