-A Year LATER-

Daiki: (Wakes up in panic, Hiroki comforts him, watches Hiroki dress, gets ready, goes downstairs, kisses Hiroki goodbye, gathers his things, Daiki opens the door, he goes out to his car and takes Ayuko to her first day of high school.)

Ayuko: Papa, please hurry I don't want to be late on my first day!

Daiki: He attempts to hurry to the school, they now have to leave earlier because Ayuko's high school is farther away. He finally drops her off and heads off to work, he goes to the office, he sits down next to Sky.) Hey Sky

Sky/Hiro: Hey hir-

Hiro/Daiki: How are you doing?

Sky/Hiro: Uh, I'm doing fine and you?

Hiro/Daiki: Well, I'm alive

Sky/Hiro: So you're doing bad?

Hiro/Daiki: You've finally cut the act?

Sky/Hiro: So did you... I give up ok but not everything revolves around you hiro!

Hiro/Daiki: I know, I figured that out not long ago in a way

Sky/Hiro: you wanted a fresh start and so did we plus I've never done anything wrong to you so drop the attitude

Hiro/Daiki: I'm sorry, I was just so scared seeing you again, I had no idea what would happen

Sky/Hiro: nothing is going to happen after 2 flipping years after drinking himself and overdosing to the point where its messed up his brain, nothing will happen he's moved on, hes literally a new person no pun intended

Hiro/Daiki: That's reassuring

Sky/Hiro: For you maybe but not for me, he has trouble remembering things

Hiro/Daiki: I could see why, I mean it's not like I did any better, I ruined my organs with those painkillers.

Sky/Hiro: wow and it goes right back to you, you cold hearted sea bass and you said Mino lacks emotions, you don't even care I'm honestly so upset, and disappointed in you right now Hiro.

Hiro/Daiki: I know I'm cold-hearted, I don't know how I got myself to this bloody point, I don't know how I'm alive. I should be dead, Mino shouldn't be-

Sky/Hiro: (punches a hole right through her computer screen and then turns and smiles at hiro) excuse I need to go to the ladies room.

Hiro/Daiko: Uh... don't let me keep you (Hiro smiles slightly)

Sky/Hiro: but before I go (slaps hiro leaving a handprint behind) wipe that smile off your face.(starts walking to the bathroom)

Hiro/Daiko: I will when I'm dead (Hiro whispers to himself)

Sky/hiro: say something else

Hiro/Daiki: I wish Izaya had just killed me when he finished

Sky/Hiro: (pounces on hiro) you listen to me we are friends and as friends I am to make sure you do what's best and I'm trying to help but your making this hard

Hiro/Daiki: Thanks for trying

Sky/Hiro: (leans in and hugs Hiro)

Hiro/Daiki: Would you have still cried if I had died last week?

Sky/Hiro: of course you're my friend

Hiro/Daiki: [Internal Thoughts: I feel bad for what I'm thinking] (He says nothing, but holds onto Sky)

Ayuko: I can't believe I'm a freshman at high school!
