I'm extremely excited for this book and I hope that you guys will enjoy it too. The information in my story is all made up and may not be correct according to other werewolf stories and popular beliefs. But nonetheless I can't wait to share it 🌹_____________________________
The music booming through the overly packed house was making my head throb. I've been walking around forever, dodging drunken idiots left, right and centre but there was still no sign of Emily, my best friend. It felt like the music was getting louder, pumping a beat into my head and making my headache throb to the rhythm blaring through the speakers.
Truth be told, she was probably in a bedroom with some random guy - her victim for tonight. When I say victim, I mean of her delusional fantasy that she would find her one true love in a frat house.
After circling the living room one more time I finally gave up and headed towards the kitchen to drown my own sorrows in some vodka. I couldn't find any clean cups so I thought 'fuck it' and brought the bottle to my lips, throwing my head back and letting the alcohol burn its way down my throat and settling in the pit of my stomach causing an unfamiliar burning sensation.
I was usually the responsible one but tonight I was going to let my hair down, forget about my responsibilities and just... get wasted.
I carried the bottle with me to the living room and ignored all the looks casted my way, I didn't know any of these people so they could kindly fuck right off.
Taking another chug of the vodka I felt the room starting to spin slightly and plopped down onto a couch, making two hormonal crazed teenagers jump apart from each other.
"Do you mind?" The guy asked rudely, wiping his swollen lips with the back of his long sleeve shirt.
"Not at all, carry on!" I said smiling and raised the bottle up as a 'cheers' before bringing it to my lips again. I could sense the guy staring at me, probably very pissed that I have cockblocked him.
"On second thought, I'll leave and give you guys some privacy. Be safe kids!" I chirped and got up, laughing at myself. I was well on my way to being drunk and wanted to seal the deal by taking another swig only to find that, much to my sadness, the bottle was empty. My headache was now completely drowned out by the thumping music and the beat almost seemed pleasant. Deep in thought about how good I was feeling, I stumbled into something and dropped the empty bottle of alcohol. Oops.
"Well, that wall came out of nowhere," I muttered to myself with no desire of bending down and picking the bottle up.
"Excuse me?" A deep voice said and I jumped a little. I slowly looked up and noticed that the wall I bumped into was not a wall, but a person. A person with a broad chest, bulging muscles and eyes the color of midnight. Pretty good looking wall.
"Oh, sorry. I thought you were a wall," I apologized and his mouth tipped up into a smirk for a second before disappearing again.
"Well, maybe you should watch where the fuck you're going and you won't bump into things!" The dark eyed stranger snapped at me and the two blurry versions I saw of him concentrated into one angry looking man-wall. And, by right of passage, the good looking guy was an asshole. Was the concept of an accident completely lost on him?
"Did she finish that bottle of vodka?" He continued, speaking to himself. He was eyeing the bottle laying on the floor in one piece before he dragged his eyes up my body and landed on my face, meeting my eyes.
"Oh great! You look like one of those obnoxious girls who get way too drunk and bump into guys to get their attention. Clumsy isn't cute, it's annoying." He spoke down to me and I could feel my anger rising. He clearly thought the sun was shining out of his ass and every girl craved a tan.
