"Oh, Elliot. Yes, baby." I teased Emily as we headed into the student centre the next day. She slapped my arm and went bright red.

"Can you stop!" She hissed between clenched teeth.

"Well, you guys sure as hell didn't stop," I teased one last time before we reached the point where we split up.

"Rose!" She frowned but smiled as soon as she saw Elliot coming towards us, along with Keegan. Kill me.

"Sorry, I'll stop. Gotta go. Bye." I quickly said and ran up the stairs to the third floor where my drama class was. Anything to get away from him and his good looking shell.

What the hell was wrong with me?

Loud footsteps came up behind me and for some reason I just knew that it was Keegan.

"Did you really think you could run away from me?" He laughed and I frowned. Why did he come after me?

"A girl can only dream," I said, forcing myself to stop and face him. "Do you do drama?"

"Yep. I do, I wasn't following you," he sounded annoyed now as he walked straight past me into the drama class. I rolled my eyes and followed him, taking a seat on the opposite side of the class. As soon as he spotted me he gave me a silly wave and I smiled at the friendly gesture but just as I was about to raise my hand to wave back, he threw me a middle finger.

"Asshole," I mouthed to him and he just laughed, breaking eye contact when a pretty blonde took a seat next to him and wrapped her pink manicured fingers around his bicep. A weird feeling settled in my stomach and I had to bite the inside of my cheek to not look back in their direction.

Luckily the professor came in, her high heels clicking and her hair bobbing up and down, she looked like a total diva. I giggled a little at the deep breaths she took as she set her briefcase down on the large podium.

"Righto, class. I'm Barb, well, Miss Ruth to you punks. Everyone stand up." She bounced up and down as everyone stood up, a few people laughing at the strange teacher that couldn't make eye contact with anyone.

"Hey, Rose." A voice next to me whispered and a pair of familiar chocolate eyes greeted me. It was the scary guy that was arguing with Aaron outside class the other day. How did he know my name?

"Hey, uhm?"

"Zane," he finished for me. "I didn't get the opportunity to introduce myself properly yesterday, it's nice to meet you." A few graceful steps later, he was standing right next to me. Obliterating my personal space bubble. I gave him an uncomfortable smile and took a slight step away. He was hot, but he gave me a weird vibe.

"What a weird teacher, am I right?" He whispered again and I nodded in response, with a little laugh.

"You two at the back." Miss Ruth suddenly said and my blood went cold. No, no, no. I hated the spotlight on me, thanks bubble popping Zane.

"Come to the front to demonstrate the first warm up, since you seem bored." The awkward teacher was suddenly replaced with a fierce, intimidating woman. I gulped nervously and Zane shrugged casually, holding his arm out for me to walk first.

"Of fucking course." I heard Keegan's voice and Zane snapped his eyes in his direction, narrowing them in a threatening way. I ignored the tension and made my way down the short carpet hallway leading to the stage in front of the teaching podium. My shoe snagged on a loose end and I cursed as gravity pulled me down, face first. The face plant never came as arms wrapped around my waist, steadying me while the rest of the class laughed behind their hands. My eyes went to Keegan and he was glaring at Zane as if he was mad that I didn't fall. What a dickhead.
