Chapter 11

*Nine weeks later*

Camila's Pov

I honestly thought when I had Santiago, I didn't think a child would require so much work to take care of, I expected it to be a handful but he is a painfully beautiful child that I have brought to this world

And I couldn't even tell that to the young love of my life..

I continue to help Charlie polish the glasses after washing them to the best of our- or well my abilities, he is sweet and all but he can't wash a dish correctly to save his life leaving so many thumb prints on the glasses I literally wanted to take my sandal off and hit him so hard but he is technically my boss and I can't afford to lose another job again

Not after what happened in Cuba when people found out I was pregnant, And by a female which did not make it any better..

"Come on Santiago just like I showed you" Y/n called out as I watched him giggle and laugh with a cheap baseball in his hand before he threw it softly kind of flailing as he did it making me grin at how well him and Y/n were getting along since they first met..I honestly would not have it any other way and it makes my heart swell when Santiago gushes about Y/n when we get back to the hotel

"She showed me this today!" 

"Oh Mommy we watched this together!" 

Y/n still hasn't gotten back to me about the results of the DNA test and it is making my mind buzz in curiosity but I didn't wanna bother her to death about it

"Earth to Camila?" Charlie asked snapping his fingers in front of my face snapping me out of my sudden trance

"Sorry Charlie Boy, I got distracted" I say grinning at him before looking back at the two of them as Charlie looked on as well

"I can tell" He chuckles while I pay him no mind grabbing a glass drying it off observing Y/n's features..Her hairs grown a little longer, and god her arms look a little stronger, And my oh my has her smile gotten so much softer

She looks like a teddy bear, Except when she's angry..

"Camila!!" I heard Y/n's voice ring out before I noticed her running towards me looking down at my feet only to noticed I dropped a glass I was holding from before and the pieces sprawled all over the floor noticing that a piece chipped the skin underneath my big toe on my left foot making me wince when I finally noticed the small stinging pain

"Mommy? Chu okay?!" Santiago says worriedly goofily running towards me

"Yes Baby, Mommy just scratched herself a bit that's all" I coo trying to settle him down before his cheeks could puff up signaling he was about to cry which always broke my heart when he would cry his little heart out..

"Come on, I have some band aids in my office" Y/n says grabbing my wrist and guides me out from behind the bar

"Santi you can toss the ball with Charlie until I get back okay?" She says kindly as Santiago just softly grins in response and I blow him a kiss before I leave with Y/n reassuring him that I was going to be okay which I always did and follow Y/n down the hallway towards her slightly big but not too big office

"Just sit down right here" Y/n says pointing to the chair across from her large wooden desk causing me to nod and take seat after she shut the door

"Let me see here" She says pulling out a first aid kit out of her top desk drawer and bent down to me like a prince to a princess taking off my shoe for me knowing a wouldn't allow her to causing me to frown

"Just live up to your reputation as a princess for once" She chuckles getting out a cotton swab and dips a bit of alcohol cleaning it

"Just like you live up to yours as a pu-Ouch Fuck!" I whimper out in pain as she dabs it onto the wound interrupting the next word that was about to come out of my mouth as she cleaned gently putting in some light effort in order to make me comfortable

"Aye, Mamita calm down I'm almost finished" She groaned finally putting the bloody swab down and grabbed a medium sized band aid ripping it open with her teeth making me bite my lip a bit in response

"You haven't called me that in a while.." I said softly after a moment of silence with her still not looking up at me wrapping the band aid around my toe lightly pressing it on and as she does this she still isn't looking up at me

"Mm" She hums in response before pulling a piece of paper out of her coat pocket making me even more nervous than I already was as she handed it over to me

She ran her fingers over my toe gently as I opened the slip of paper up scanning my eyes through the results until I finally found what I was looking for making my heart beat and for the first time in awhile sudden

Happiness.

"S-So what are we gonna do for his birthday?" She Chokes up before I take my eyes off the paper and see a tear running down her cheek..

We can't control the product of our love, But we can make sure that it becomes the most beautiful living thing in the world...
