the competition was starting in 15 mins & we were very lucky to get at the arena just in time.

ariana & i thanked the driver & gave him the money.

while we were in the taxi, i was texting mariah that we were on our way. so that was a good sign.

ariana & i we're walking to the gate when we saw mariah holding two passes. we ran to her right away.

"you guys made it just in time!" she smiled.

"thank you for helping us." i said.

we entered the gate and followed mariah inside of the arena.

"well anything for nathan's girlfriend." she said.

girlfriend? I'm his girlfriend, a confusion was plastered around my face.

"girlfriend? we aren't dating." i said.

"well from nathan's point of view it looks like you both are." she said.

we hustled around the people coming around the arena until we found a staircase that lead from the floor level on the arena.

"he talks about me?" i said, we were still continuing our conversation has we were walking downstairs.

"of course he would." ariana and mariah said in unison, both of them laughed.

"The Men's Short Program will be starting in 5 minutes." the intercom said.

we all took our time to go down by the floor level because mariah was trying her best to hide ariana and i.

"okay so romain told some of the skater guys that you and ariana were here and i told mirai that you were here too so they'll hide you and try to keep you company." she said.

we nodded our heads in understand meant, all three of us made it by the floor level next to the rink and it was incredible.

mariah hid ariana and i in a room that was reserved for us. it was nice because there was a tv and a bunch of food.

"I'll come get you guys later when nathan goes on but if you need to use the bathroom it's by the left." she said.

has soon has you know it she left and i had to use the bathroom. darn right when she left i thought.

"I'll be right back I need to use the bathroom." i said.

"alright." ariana said, has she has a stuff full of rice in her face. "just make sure you don't bump into him."

"I know." i said, i immediately walked out of the room careful with my cap on so no one would know it's me. i turned to my left and speed walked to the bathroom, but next thing you know i felt my body hit someone.

"sorry." i mumbled.

"no your fine." the familiar voice said, my eyes widen to see raf.

uh oh i thought

"anna." he said.
raf was shook has i was when i saw him.

i looked down to my shoes and just looked up at him slowly.

"what are you doing here? nathan told me you couldn't go to milan with us because of a job interview." he explained.

"well it got canceled and my best friend decided to buy us tickets so i can surprise nathan." i smiled.

"you know how many times that boy was talking about you because you couldn't go with us." he said.

i nodded my head and laughed a little, "yeah and now mariah told me." I chuckled after.

"he definitely likes you know." raf confidently said.

"yeah, now you raf you should probably go because nathans probably waiting for you." i said.

he nodded his head and agreed. "I'll see you when nathan performs." i nodded my head.

raf was leaving but before i realized that something might happen i ran to him.

"raf." i panted, i was out of breath a little bit.

"woah anna slow down, what do you need?" He asked.

"don't tell him I'm here alright." i said once more.

"of course i wouldn't." i smiled and sighed in relief.

raf smiled, "now I'll see you later kid." i nodded my head and ran to the bathroom.

when i got back from the bathroom and went into the room i saw ariana scrolling through her phone.

she looked up at me has soon has i closed the door from behind.

"what took you so long?" she asked.

"well i kinda of bumped into raf." i mumbled.

"dang and how did that go." she said.

i sat down to on the sofa right next to her and explained everything.

"well you know has long has he doesn't tell nathan then your good." she patted my back.

"yup." i said.

i rested my head on her shoulder and she hugged me, we stayed like this for awhile until the door opened.

romain popped up at the door, "are you guys ready?" he said.

ariana let go and we just looked at each other and smiled, then looked back at him.

"definitely." i cheered.

romain opened the door for us and we followed him. "just stay by me." he said.

ariana and i nodded our head and carefully followed him from behind. we stood by the wall where nathan couldn't find us but we had a good view at what we were seeing.

"alright he's up next." romain said.

"i can't wait." I smiled. I pulled my phone out and started recording.

ariana and romain high fived each other right next to me and I just rolled my eyes, when I saw them.

"Representing the United States of America, Nathan Chen." the announcer said.

next thing you know when they said his name the crowd became wild with cheers.

nathan was careful making his way into his starting position and he looked has good has ever.

the crowd died down when nemesis started blaring through the speakers.

this was it i thought.
