it was our one year anniversary of being together has boyfriend and girlfriend, he was going to take me out to dinner for our anniversary and of course i had to accept it.

on that day, i had to help my mom cook food for my family that was going to come over. so he had to wait for me at the restaurant and to keep him company i asked Alex and Maia to just wait there with him since i was going to be at least 25 minutes late.

when i got to the restaurant, i didn't know what was happening because Alex and Maia immediately walked out of the restaurant when they saw me.

"is everything okay?" i asked.

they both had worried looks on their faces when they looked at me. it was the word trouble when i saw it but i just ignored it.

"don't go inside the restaurant." maia said.

i was confused at what she was talking about so i just ignore it again, they both didn't stop me at that time so when i opened that door to the restaurant i heard Alex from a distance yelling at me to go back out but i didn't.

when i walked into the restaurant and walked to the table nathan was waiting at, i never expected to see the tragedy right in front of my eyes.

he was with another girl i thought... they both we're holding hands and just looking at each other, i was confused until maia came in rushing at the scene.

"nathan's cheating on you." maia said.

the words linger through my brain, i couldn't believe it after a year dating him i was witnessing this right in front of my eyes. she was a pretty blonde girl and had light pale skin that was holding his hand.

" n-nathan." i stuttered, tears were coming out of my eyes.

he immediately let go of the girls hand and looked at me. his eyes widen at what he just did to me.

"anna.. i-i can explain." i look around to see maia not there anymore, i knew she would be outside waiting with alex.

i looked back at him and just shook my head and just ran out of the restaurant. i was running to my car until i felt someone holding my wrist. i sighed and i turned around to see him.

"what do you want you've done enough." i scold.

"i didn't mean it i swear." he confessed

"i saw you and her holding hands, i think it was situation that actually means to you." i said has i choked on my tears.

he let go of wrist and held my hand, on the other he wiped my tears and held on my cheek.
i knew he was about to lean in but i couldn't get out of his grip.

his lips touched my lips, it was a passionate one and stupid me had to kiss back. i felt sparks and got caught up in the moment until i realized what he did. it was our last kiss we shared that night

i pulled away from the kiss and started to cry again.

"goodbye nathan." i sighed into my tears. "and do me a favor and remove me out of your contacts."

he just stood there and nodded his head. i got  into my car and drove away with tears coming out of my eyes.

that was the day i got ruined at 17 and had my first heartbreak

it felt like only yesterday the tragedy happened but it was a year ago and i've been worried free about everything since then.
