Camila's POV

Camila couldn't figure out how it happened. One minute Lauren and her were going to school on a regular basis, the next moment a manager by the name of Roger Love called her to discuss the possibility of her writing songs for his client, Shawn Mendes.

Not only had Camila not known that Lauren had shown their friends her journal of lyrics, but she'd also uploaded it to YouTube, where Roger had found them. As she rummaged through her house for the journal, she finally found it on her nightstand with a note sticking out of it.

By now everyone knows the thoughts that swirl through your beautiful mind. Please don't be mad that I did this, I'm sure that someone's going to love your work almost as much as I have, you deserve it. I know you always tell me how much you hate the life that celebrity's have, no privacy blah blah blah, you secretly love it. You don't fool me, whatever happens I can promise that I won't ever leave your side, you're that thing people spend lifetimes searching for, guess I skipped countless heartbreaks and fell into you. Now when everyone loves you don't forget about me, I better be your date to all of the red carpets you'll be attending, no doubt they'll hear your voice and you'll become a singer too. Promise me that you won't find some hot as hell model and leave me in the dust? I'll see your hot ass soon.

"P.s I love you more Lauren Jauregui." Camila whispered.

Two days later

"Yes Roger, I'll be in LA tomorrow, don't you worry your bald head." Camila said into the phone. It was almost a week after Lauren had released her lyrics on the internet, which had blown up. Followed by Lauren releasing a little snippet of her singing, onto YouTube. It was safe to say that Camila had gained over 100,000 followers on Instagram, and had, to be blunt, become an overnight sensation.

Lauren had done this for her, keeping in mind that it would be hard for them to keep their relationship as perfect as it was then. She hasn't seen her girlfriend in a couple of days and she was almost literally itching to be able to hold and kiss her again. Speaking of her girlfriend she was supposed to be here within the next twenty minutes, leaving just enough time for Camila to shower and brush her teeth.

"Yes Roger, I'll see you tomorrow. Yes I'm very excited to meet Shawn. Okay bye." Camila replied and finally hung up, checking the calling statistics to see that he had kept her on the phone for 40 minutes and Camila couldn't even remember half of what he was talking about.

Camila slipped out of her clothes and took the quickest shower she'd probably ever taken, making sure to set everything up she needed for right after she'd exit the shower. Her hairdryer, toothbrush/toothpaste, and 8 roses were sitting on her bathroom vanity. The roses reminded Camila of her plan to surprise Lauren with them once she got here. It was the couples 8 month anniversary today and honestly Camila's fallen ever more in love with Lauren than she thought was possible. They'd established the kind of relationship where they were completely comfortable with eachother, not together too often to the point where they felt suffocated by eachother. They were perfect, at least in Camila's opinion. As she blow dried her hair she became nervous, Lauren was going to be here very soon and the younger girl didn't want to mess anything up. She'd set up rose petals leading from the living room where she set up Lauren's favourite movie, to the brown eyed girls room. Of course Camila didn't expect anything to happen today, they'd both agreed they weren't ready to have sex yet, but they had been experimenting what they both enjoyed for the past couple of months. Camila couldn't ever complain, the noises she elicited from Lauren were heavenly and she never wanted to stop pleasing the older girl.
