(A/N: Hey guys! It's Lauren here, sorry for not updating very much this week, I haven't gotten much time AT ALL this week to update. Again, I apologize...I've just had a lot going on lately with family and stuff, so I hope you enjoy, have a great day, and have a wonderful Fourth of July!)

I sit there, waiting for Jo and Cassy to come back in and tell us that its okay. I hug Lucas and Jason to my chest and they hug me tightly. I've bonded with Jason and Lucas a lot more since me and Lucas found Jo and Cassy.

"LJ? Will they be okay?" Jason asks.

"Of course they will, they'll be okay, don't worry." I say, softly. I try to believe it myself...no Lilly, stop it...they'll be okay...right? I silently pray that they will be. A few minutes later, I feel the boys relax their arms a little bit. I hear their steady breathing and I realize that they're asleep. I smile and her the shed door open. I sigh in relief and I hear Cassy say that we should go to bed. I silently agree and they both enter the room. Jo picks up Jason from my arms and we both carry our brothers to their room. We lay them down on their bed and and I go to the kitchen, looking over at Cassy. I see that she's looking at her ankle, which looks a little swollen. She's sitting on the couch. I go over to her, with the first aid kit in my hands and I look at her ankle, crouching down and turning it around a little, carefully. I try not to hurt her and I lay it back down and say,

"It's just a sprain. No bites right?" she shakes her head and I nod, wrapping her ankle in a bandage. I put the first aid kit back and I go over to Jo. I hear Cassy go in her room. I look at Jo.

"Any bites or anything?" I ask. She shakes her head also and I give her a smile. She smiled back and we go into our rooms. I lay down on the ground and pull the worn blanket up to my chin.

I probably get about an hour of sleep, when I wake up from a nightmare. Ugh another nightmare. I stand up, quickly and I look in all the rooms, carefully. No ones awake yet. Good. I go into the living room and I go to our kitchen. I look for my backpack and I find it. It held a bunch of my daggers. I look over at Pickle and on the outside, I'm quietly grinning. But, on the inside, I'm squealing from the adorableness. Riley is sleeping on top of Pickle! It's so freaking cute! Anyways, back to what I was doing.

I put my backpack on my back and I, as cautiously as I could, opened the shed door and, without making a sound, I closed the door, locking it. I looked around, taking out my bloodstained twin daggers. I started to walk, curiously. I was a very curious person, so I decided to somehow adventure the places in town that I haven't been to yet. I walked around, past the mall, and into the forest.

I looked around, walking forward. I suddenly saw a pond. It looked familiar for some reason. I don't know why....oh! I remember now! My uncle would take me here all the time! Memories flooded through my mind.

I walked up to it and I knelt down, looking into the water. I suddenly heard a crack from behind me and I got up, quickly looking behind me. I saw nothing. I didn't dare to say anything. I thought it might've been my imagination, but something, or someone, came limping out from behind a tree. I gasped, realizing it was one of the Undead. I raised my daggers, ready to kill it. I stopped and lowered my weapons, seeing who the zombie was. It was my uncle. Memories and thoughts raced through my mind as I stood there, my feet frozen to the ground. My undead uncle walked towards me, slowly. I looked into his eyes and whispered, "U-Uncle Jim?" He blinked his grey, dead eyes. My eyes started to fill with tears. I blinked them away and they slowly ran down my cheeks. I raised my daggers, slowly and hesitantly.

No Lilly, he's not alive anymore...stop thinking and just fight him!

I lower my daggers a little.

No Lilly, STOP!!

I quickly stab my uncle in the neck. He slumps down to the ground, dead.

I whisper, "I'm sorry..." I bite my lip, hoping I don't suddenly burst out crying. I run out of the forest, realizing that the sun was inching into the sky. I run to the shack and hear a bunch of groans behind me. I don't dare look back and I keep running. I trip and fall on the ground. I hear a sickening crack and I bite my lip to keep from yelling out. I wince and I look around for something to distract the zombies.

I find a big rock and I throw it at a tree, glad that I had played Softball when I was a kid. They all turned around and I got up, shakily and I saw that there was about 25 of them. I opened the shed door, hoping they didn't notice that I was gone. They cant know about this, they just can't...I limp down the hallway. I realized I had broken my leg. I had landed on a big and sharp rock, crushing my leg underneath me. I limp down the hallway and I see into Lucas and Jason's room. They were still asleep. I suddenly hear whispers in Cassy's room and I hear Jo and Cassy talking about something.

They didn't notice the shed door open and close, thank god. I keep limping down the hallway, quietly, trying not to be noticed...good they didn't notice me. I walk past the door and go in my room, quietly. I lay down. Crap...my leg burns...
