I blink up at the white lights above me, my shoulder feels like I was shot, when in actuality I was just stabbed. "Ah! She decided to wake up! I try to sit up but fall back down when I feel the pain in my shoulder. Oh, also my legs and arms are shackled to a metal table. "You've been out for a day!" She frowns, "I had to postpone our little meeting with the Avengers. But don't worry! Now that you're awake we can go see them! I just messaged them where to meet, we should get going." She unshackles me and pulls me up, I cry out from the pain in my shoulder. "Oh shut up. It's your fault. She forces my hands behind my back and handcuffs me, I feel one of the stitches in my shoulder rip and have to blink back tears. White dots dance in my vision. She pushes me and I stumble forward. We reach a metal door and she puts a bag over my face and forces me into a van. I know it's a van because I had to step up.
After about five minutes of driving the van stops, "We're here." She pulls the bag off my face and pulls me out of the van. I blink at the harsh sunlight, I haven't been outside for my entire imprisonment. I see the Avengers standing in front of us, fully armed, across a courtyard, I look around and see we're out of the city. The Diamond laughs, "Put down your weapons!" She holds one of her diamond knives and presses it against my throat, "Or she dies." Loki, who is standing in front of the Avengers, looks over my shoulder then back at The Diamond, "What did you do to her?!" She laughs again and shrugs, "She made a break for. Fast little thing. Don't worry, she's fine." She does realize I'm older than her, right? "Now, didn't we agree you'd be shackled?" She smirks. Tony steps forward, "Let her go, Lillian!" I feel The Diamond flinch at the sound of her name. "That's right! I did my research! I'm SORRY your parents died! I'm so sorry! But you don't have to do this!" He calls across the courtyard. Lillian growls, "Give. Me. Loki." Loki sighs and snaps his fingers, instantly, his arms are chained in front of him. "Brother-" Thor steps forward but Loki interrupts him, "No, the mortal is right. I have to do this." He looks at Tony, "Put the check in my hand." Tony does. Lillian smiles, all traces of her hatred gone, "Yay! Now, let's trade!" "I'm not a pokemon," I mutter. Lillian frowns, "What?" I shake my head, "Nothing." Lillian shoves me forward, hitting my shoulder, and I wince. Loki walks forward as well. When we pass each other I grab his arm, "Please, we can escape." He smirks at me, "Don't worry (y/n), I'm not an idiot." He pulls away and continues walking, I look back at him before walking over to the Avengers, the pain in my shoulder only growing.
"(y/n)? (y/n) wake up." I blink up and see a concerned Tony Stark. "You passed out after we got into the helicarrier. You've been out for about ten minutes." I try to sit up but wince, "Ug, it's my shoulder. It might be infected." Tony nods, "Oh it definitely is. Bruce checked you out. You should be fine but you're going to need to relax for a few days and take lots of medicine. Here, take this pain medicine." He hands me a cup of water and some white pills. I swallow them with a gulp of water and immediately feel a little better. "Loki?" Tony sighs, "I'm afraid he's with Lillian. Though I'm sure he'll be alright. He's always got some trick up his sleeve." He smiles and offers me a hand, I grab it and he helps me sit up, I lean against the wall. "We're almost at the Avengers Tower. I would suggest resting. Director Nick Fury (Is he still the director??? Or is it Coulson??? PLEASE tell me) will come in to ask you some questions soon.
About five minutes late Director Nick Fury enters, "Hello (y/n). Tell me what happened when you got kidnapped. From the beginning." I nod and explain how The Diamond kidnapped me and everything after that. "Then she traded me for Loki. Now we're here. Any other questions?" He nods, "One more question. Now keep in mind I'm just as uncomfortable as you asking this question," He clears his throat, "What is your and Loki's relationship?" I wince, I was expecting this. I shrug, "It's a relationship, I guess. It started in my universe. What more do you want me to say? We didn't want to tell the Avengers because we didn't know how they'de react. Tony... um... caught us kissing but I kinda threatened him into not telling the others." Nick snorts, "Ok then. Well, we're at the Avengers Tower and I have shit to do. Bye."
It's been a week since I got back to the Avengers and Loki was taken. Shouldn't he have escaped by now? The Avengers have scoured everywhere looking for him but to no avail. All the Avengers except Tony and Thor have been giving me weird looks. Tony still jokes around with me and honestly, I think Thor is happy his little brother finally has a girlfriend. I've continued my S.H.I.E.L.D training but it's hard to focus on with Loki gone. I'm really worried about him.
I'm lounging on one of the couches in the Avengers living room when the god of mischief himself crashes through one of the huge windows. "HOLY FUCK- LOKI?! WHAT THE FUCK?! OH, MY GOD." Hearing the crash and my yelling the other Avengers come running in. Loki stands up, his clothes are torn and he's covered in bloody gashes, he also looks like he's lost about 10 pounds. He clears his throat, "The Diamond, Lillian, she's smarter then she looks. It took me awhile, but I escaped. She'll be coming after me though." He stumbles, and it looks like he's about to collapse. I rush over and let him lean against me, helping him to the nearest couch. He sighs, "Could someone please get me some water. I would use my magic but I'm not strong enough at the moment." No one moves and Loki rolls his eyes, "Now would be great." Begrudgingly Clint walks over to the kitchen and gets Loki a cup of water. After Loki gulps it down he looks me in the eyes, "We have to hide."
"Woah woah. Are you telling me this 17-year-old girl can hack MY technology? No way. Loki she can't get us." Tony argues. We moved to the hallway, away from the broken window that's letting in a draft. Loki shakes his head, "You don't understand. Tony, she's a GENIUS. Even by my standards." Loki is trying to convince the Avengers and me to go into hiding. Natasha steps up, "For one in my life I agree with Tony Stark. We stay and fight. I mean, she's 17. Not much of a threat." I roll my eyes, "She has that liquid Diamond she can shape into whatever she wants. I'm not saying we run but you have to realize she is a threat." I tell Natasha, answering the glare she sends me. Thor and I are siding with Loki, but the others think we should stay." Loki throws up his hands, exasperated, "Fine! Stay and die. I could care less. But me, Thor, and (y/n) and leaving." He grabs me and Thor's arm and is about to disappear when we hear another crash, a broken window. "I'm baaack."
