Aptos POV
-----------------------The sun sent warm rays of light as the truck came to a stop in front of modern-ish house. As I walked out I saw Thunder wave. Thunder was my new roommate. Her and I were friends ever since middle school. Thunder had auburn colored hair, and faded green eyes, not to mention a height of 5"5 feet. She had always been a little childish, annoying, and loud, but she always laughed and tolerated me. I was the more cold one. Rudeness seemed to be my middle name. Born with golden blond hair and green-blue eyes, I never really stuck out. Not that I wanted to anyways. Social anxiety can be a bitch.
"Hey Aptos! How's it going?" Thunder said, smiling as always.
"Thunder, we were just in the same truck. I think you would know." I sighed.
"Can you help me with these boxes please?" I said, struggling already the weight of them. I had no upper-body strength what so ever. She snickered at me and went to grab a box when suddenly she took off towards a figure standing at a house nearby. I grumbled and muttered under my breath when Thunder called me over. "Wha-"Before I could finish my sentence, the figure approached. This guy wore a blue hoodie and had light brown spiky hair. Easy on the hair gel psycho... I thought. Thunder practically skipped with the guy over to me, which is unusual behavior for her. Thunder ran to me,
"Meet my cousin Aptos!" The guy approached me.
"Hey. Tom's the name." I snorted, "That's the most generic name I've ever heard other than 'Bob'."
Tom narrowed his black eyes. "And? Isn't 'Aptos' a place in California? Lame."
"Ooookay that's enough!" Thunder said, knowing I would attempt to knock this guy on the pavement. I have anger issues."We're going to be neighbor's!!" Thunder spoke, the sparkle in her eyes obvious. Tom rolled his eyes and took a quick gulp out of his flask. I sighed, "Nice ta meet you I guess."
I proceeded to yank Thunder by her hoodie towards the truck without waiting for an answer from Tom.Thunder POV
----------------------------
"This is abuse!" I yelled out while being dragged to the van. I still wanted to talk with Tom.
"Please. The only abuse here is on my eardrums." I sighed. She was too stubborn to be reasoned with, so I grabbed a few boxes and began trucking them inside. I was really excited to see my new room. I could paint it and hang up posters of my favorite animes! I gently set down all my stuff and rubbed my hands together with glee.
"Time to begin!"Aptos POV
---------------------
I set up all my things, which included my bed, desk, computer, and mirror. A majority of the clothes I hung up were either short-sleeves or hoodies, themed on Batman or random places in New York. I sighed and pulled out my headphones which were located in my backpack, along with earbuds and snacks. As I made my bed, I heard Thunder thumping around in her room. She's probably unpacking too... Hopefully.
I went back outside and trucked in the rest of the furniture because it was getting late and I just wanted to sleep. Soon I finished, brushed my hair, and passed out on my bed.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
