Thunder POV
--------------------------

I had passed out on the floor last night. I was too excited! Tom and his friends are here! If only Aptos would chill. I headed downstairs and saw all the furniture neatly in place. Aptos the neat freak. I set to the kitchen and began making breakfast. I was wearing my usual cat hoodie, with nice jeans and my hair neatly brushed and in a ponytail. Then I realized,
We don't have anything to eat.
"Aaaaaaptoooos get uuuuuppp!!!" I heard a thump and an 'Oww' from upstairs and giggled as she stomped down the stairs. She was still in her clothes from yesterday and her hair was a frizzy mess.
"What?" She said, giving me an extremely annoyed look.
"We need to get food from the store. We're out." I gave her a 'durr' look as she shook herself awake.
"Oh....yeah..." She went back up the stairs, most likely to get ready. I went and grabbed my small purse from my dresser and set my keys and phone in there. She always made fun of me for it but I know her weakness.

Aptos POV

I brushed my hair, not wanting to change. I should of thought of food before I went to bed. I yawned and met Thunder at the door.
"Ready?"
"Ready!"
We walked out together to the inner part of town, which honestly didn't take too long. We arrived soon at a general store called "SpendSumCash".
"Not really creative huh?" Thunder sighed.
"Yep."
We walked around and explored, and by walked around and explored I mean I walked behind Thunder as she rode on the cart like a kid. Suddenly I bump into someone.
"Ey! Watch where your- oh. It's you." I step back.
"Hi Tom!" Thunder greeted. Tom looked as normal as ever, except he didn't have that flask in his hand. There was a boy with a green hoodie standing beside him, with messy brown hair and a calm expression. He spoke, "Hi! You guys must be our new neighbors right?"
"Yep!" Thunder answered for me. As they were chatting I couldn't help but notice their cart was filled with lots and lots of 'Cola'. I shrugged to myself. Everyone's addicted to something I guess. Tom was casually looking out the window, not really paying attention.
"Well I'm Edd! Glad to have you here!" He spoke happily.
"The name's Aptos."
Soon after a large debate about cola we departed. As we left though, I couldn't help but catch Tom's eye. We exchanged a look for a moment and we left the store and paying.

Thunder POV

I practically dragged Aptos home. We both didn't complain though, we were starving. As soon as we got in we put the groceries away and I immediately set to cooking.
"How does brinner sound?"
"Let's save that for breakfast."
"Fine. How about taco's?"
"That sounds good."
And with that I began cooking. I opened the ground beef and put it in a pan to fry, and opened the taco shells. Soon the meat was finished. I put a healthy dollop into each and sprinkled them with cheese.
"Dinners ready!!"
"Okay."
She loves taco's. Why isn't she enthusiastic? I set two plates down on the dining table and began eating as Aptos did likewise. Soon the day ended, but there was a surprise in store for tomorrow.
Good thing we like BBQ.
