Tord POV

I don't want to be here, I don't want to be here, I don't want to be here-
"You ready?" Tom asked me. Tom had asked me beforehand to come with him to the arcade. I honestly didn't understand, especially with Thunder being here. I had noticed whenever I spoke to her he would watch us. He would watch us closely, VERY closely, and I never understood why. I mean, she IS kinda cu- Stop it stop it! I forcefully cleared my head.

"Um..yeah." Things have been kind of tense between us lately, even before the new girls moved here. With one last look at the large blue building, we walked in. There were blue light set up all along the ceiling, making the room glow. Large games laid in wait for everyone, and trust me EVERYONE was there. It took us some time before we located Aptos. She seemed enamored in a weird shooting game. I watched Tom approach her and decided to relax by the ticket counter until I could see Thunder. Then I spotted her.

Thunder POV

I jumped and turned.
"Oh! Tord!" I breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn't Tommy catching me. He probably saw through my revenge plan too...
"What brings you to the arcade?"
"I could ask you the same thing!" I gave him a sassy flip of the hair. He chuckled, " Tom asked me to come. Not sure why, but he did." Tord shrugged, making his hair bounce. I couldn't help but watch it. It was mesmorizing okay!!

Aptos POV

I swear to god if Tom beats me..! The game ended, showing the title score. Tom scored a whopping 523 and I was left in the dust with a 147. I felt my face heat up.
"You cheated didn't you!?" He laughed, "I've played this game ever since I was 14!"
"Whatever cheater." I huffed and looked around for another game to play with Tom. I would play with Thunder if she would show up.
"Hey. Are you alright?" He asked me. I looked into his pitch black eyes.
"Maybe!" I walked off towards a virtual reality game. I heard him snort and follow me,
"Maybe my ass."

The Lazer Tag area seemed to be cut off from the rest of the area. As we entered, we were given the choice of 4 colors, red, blue, yellow, and green. I chose green and Tom chose blue. Predictable.

"Alriiiiigt! Who's ready for some Lazer Tag!?" The announcer boomed. He didn't get any responses.
"Um...let's start!!" And thus the gane began. I immediately ran to the back left corner of the room for cover. As I stood around the side and shot at random people passing, I saw Tom. He was leaning against a wall, not really paying attention. Really Tom? Really? I snuck around him and fired. He jumped at the sudden noise as I made a break for it.
"Get back here Aptos!" I heard him call, but I just laughed and kept running. Then I smashed face first into a wall.
