"Inspector Hayward, the new Chief of Police wants to see you." That was Officer Rouge who suddenly went inside my office.

"Alright, I'll be there in a minute." I answered. After I finished what I was doing, I then headed to the Chief's office.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Come in." It was a woman's voice, the new Chief is a lady? I opened the door slowly and when I saw who was sitting behind the table, I was quite surprised to see a beautiful blonde woman.

"Good morning Ma'am." I greeted as I saluted. "I'm Inspector James Hayward." I added.

"At ease, have a sit." She said without even looking at me.

"Why did I get called?" I asked.

"I just wanted to see who's assigned at the Cabin Massacre." She said as she looked at me. Look at that gourgeous beauty. "Also, I wanted to assign you on this case." She's now handing out a folder.

"Hm?" I opened it and I saw the victims' profiles. "If I'm not mistaken, these are the students killed near Yellowpoint Street, right?"

"Yes. I want you to investigate the two cases thoroughly and make sure that every single detail is attended. I don't care whether you go back to the crime scenes again or how you do it, just make sure that you won't do anything stupid. I want this case close as soon as possible. Is that clear?" Wow. Her voice is full of authority.

"Crystal." I answered.

"Good. You may leave." I stood up and after I saluted at her, I left.

What's with the commotion? There's a lot of people out here. Did something happen?

"Poor guy. Whoever did this to him should experience the same thing." Said by an old lady near me.

"Excuse me madame, what happened here?" I asked. I can't get through these people, there are students here also.

"The guard's been brutally murdered. One of the student saw him tied in the gate with both of his hands and feet amputated. And what's worse, he was cut from his neck down to his stomach."

"What the fuck?" I murmured in disbelief. "Thank you for the information madame." What the hell happened? I was just talking to Mr. Reynolds last night and now he's dead?

I pushed my way through the crowd and after several tries, I was able to get through. There's still a little amount of blood in the gate and I can see from my position that the police is now condemning the area.

The people around are now leaving little by little. The students are now entering the school despite of what just happened and because no announcement of cancellation was made. I still can't believe that Mr. Reynolds' already dead.

I'm now about to enter the faculty room when someone called my attention.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Calvin Summer?" A guy dressed in a suit along with two other guys approached me.

"Yes, why?" I asked.

"I'm Officer Blake Rouge from Bridgestone Police Department." He said as he flashed his badge. "I would just like to invite you for some questioning regarding the murder last night."
