The New Boy

Chapter 10

KATIES POV

My heart dropped.

"what?" I said. "you can't leave me."

He starred blankly into my eyes. He then scratched the back of his neck.

"Are you serious Nash?" I yelled.

"Okay. Have fun." I grab my bag from the ground and storm out of his house.

As I'm waking out the door Nash yells, "Where are you going?"

I couldn't answer because I didn't know where I was going. I didn't know where to go or what to do. I decided to go home.

-HOME-

I close the front door to find Cameron and Mandy making out in the living room. Cameron quickly pushes Mandy off him and comes up to me. "What's wrong?" he asks.

Mandy then makes eye contact with me, "Get out." I say pointing towards the front door.

"No." She says standing up and crossing her arms.

"Fine." I drop my bag and get bug spray from under the kitchen sink. I start spraying her.

"What are you doing?" she yells. "I'm gonna spray you until you get out." I kept on spraying her for a good 3 minutes.

"FINE!" She yells. "But I'll be back. Love you Cam." She says and then exits out of the door.

"So whats wrong?" Cameron says.

"Nash is moving to California." I say.

"Sorry." He says pulling me in for a hug and rubbing my back.

"It's okay. I just need time to think." I grab my bag off the floor and go to my room. I check my phone and I have 5 messages from Nash:

Nash: are you okay?

Nash: do you need me to pick you up?

Nash: I'm sorry babe

Nash: please respond.

Nash: love you.

Honestly I just need time to think.
