chapter 2

Annie's POV
I had finally arrived in LA. I got in an Uber and headed to the hotel I was going to stay in. I got to the hotel, stressed and scared and out of no where this boy who looks my age bumps into me and doesn't help me at all. He laughs and doesn't have his hand out so I could get up.
"You Idiot!!" I yelled.
"I don't care." The boy said laughing.
I met up with the executive producer so he can really know how I am if I were to be RHYME.
The meeting ended and I headed up to my room which was paid by Brat itself.
*knock* *knock*
Annie: Hello. Who are you?
Paige: I am Paige, your personal guardian.
Annie: Personal what?!
Paige: You are auditioning for a role right?
Annie: Well yes.
Paige: I get to take care of you as you are staying here in California and one more thing, tomorrow morning, you are having dinner with the other girls that will be auditioning for Rhyme.
Annie: Wait what?
Paige: You are getting to know your competition.
Annie: Okay thank you, good night.
The next day...
I headed down to the breakfast room and got my share of food. I was so distracted by the food, but then I saw the other girls who were auditioning for the role of Rhyme. I sat down at the nearest empty chair.
Annie: Do you mind if I sit here?
Jayden: No it's fine. We love making new friends!
Annie: Oh thank you.
Jayden: I forgot to introduce myself! I am Jayden, that is Mads, that is Riley, and that is Jenna!
All: Hi!
Annie: So you guys are all auditioning for Rhyme?
Mads: Well Yeah.. I want that part but honestly I'm fine if I just get picked to be in the show.
Jenna: No I want to be Rhyme. (glares)
Annie: Oh ok... (fake smiles)
Riley: So how did you find this role?
Annie: I've always loved acting and this seemed like a great opportunity.
Jenna: Me too.
Jayden: Okay... I will get more food.
Annie: Same here.
