And from that moment forward, Blaze was a bit dimmer. Hale was a bit more humble. Zelda was a bit quieter. Zach got angry more often. They all realized life was gonna be tougher than they thought. More marks appeared on Blaze they followed to Zelda now that she had powers too. All pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, but they didn't even know where the corners were. They stayed in the Forrest for three days.
ALL PERSPECTIVE
Z: Where are we?
Zach: This is the whitelands.
H: What?
Zach: I've been dreaming about it, I don't know too much though.
B: Never thought to mention it eh?
H: How did we get here.
Zach: The watchers.
H: We fell asleep in the Forrest, we wake up in a white wasteland? Are you saying they moved us?
Zach: I'm saying I think we're an experiment.
Z: What.
Zach: if it's anything like how my dream goes we're in for one hell of a ride rn
H: well that's just great, how wonderful, another day in the white wasteland playground that we've never seen before.
Zach: there are others like us I think
B: what do u mean?
Zach: there are more people with powers or who were raised different I get this feeling.*and just like that the floor became glass they were inside a big glass box, and there were people wearing black, who had similar not plain features*
B: hello *i eyed a cute tall male towards the front up and down he was cute*
H: do you people like know what's going on?
The people outside glass: we'll try to help but we don't know too much about the place ourself, every group has a different task to get out of their territory transfer. Goodluck.
Z: territory transfer?
Zach: the glass box
H: so we either die in a glass box or find a way out?
B: seems like it. What's the melting point of glass?
H: you could reach it the only question is how do we get you to light up?
Zach: I have an idea but you're all gonna hate it
H: well speaketh
Zach: when hales life was in danger. She lit up to get him out.
H: oh no no no no, not again nope, I got 3rd degree burns from that.
Zach: doesn't have to be you, you're not special *winks at hale* she cares about all of us enough to defend us
B: I do. But I don't want anyone in danger
The others: this is probably the only way we can help *all close their eyes imagining an inclosure for just one with the air slowly being sucked out, slowly but surly, Zach goes limp*H: No! Not Zach! Not Zach!
B: *closes her eyes as her fingertips turn red* I can't I can't
H: fine then I will *his cocky self punches the glass over and over blood dripping down the outside from his knuckles the glass cracks after several hits to the exact same spot he frees Zach*
B: this is great but he's still unconscious
Z: *sitting in the corner crying over Zach, the unlikely thing happening, the glass around her was freezing growing brittle as hale and blaze looked around stunned both at Hales new found powers and Zelda's freezing capabilities which they were sure she had no idea she was doing*It got cold they were in the box for a few days, Zelda just sat there freezing the place, Blaze and Hale sat back to back trying to think. The outsiders were impressed with their ability to stay at peace and concentrate but by now they had came to terms with the fact that Zach was probably dead and so they both sat. They both did something no one new they could. They were talking in silence mentally communicating with one another. Neither new they could but as they sat they focused on each others breathing and synced focused. They yelled through the energy shared between them. When finally they started to change at the same time in an odd peaceful way Zelda had already reached the state they were in when she froze except Zelda put herself to sleep with the cold. But Hale and Blaze used it, both slowly stood Blaze left ash on the floor where she walked. Both focused on the wall behind Zelda knowing exactly what to do, knowing what they might lose. Blaze put her hands to the frozen wall and let out a scream the ice against her hands was burning with the fire when Hale thought she would give out after a few minutes he reached his fists directly in between her hands, smashing a small hole in the now pressure cracked glass. They kept working like this mentally moving with one another being careful until there was a human sized hole. Then they stood there talked calmly in the silence to one another as they lifted Zach through the hole. Hale went with him, but it was Blazes turn, she had to melt Zelda, she put her hands on her wrists and slowly thawed the ice Zelda's blue lips opened frozen air coming out as she inhaled the ice cracked. She followed Blaze out without a word. The three of them stood there, Zach's lifeless body laid on the floor. Dead. Gone. And dead.
