"so you took her to the Mrs Quinter and she said she is sadder than I am?"asked Shayne as we drove to go and pick up Jess.

"yeap"

"what else did Mrs Quinter say about her am curious?"

"She said she was special and if that's the girl I like then she is fine with it but she also said we will go through a whole lot before I can call her mine one day" I replied am not even sure why I was telling Shayne all this.

"so wait does that mean you are accepting the fact that you like her a whole great deal?"

"I think I just said that?" I said still focusing on the road but I could feel Shayne's gaze on me.

"You know Jayden I have always known and from the first day you talked about that girl up to yesterday the way you looked at her as she sang I already knew you were falling for this girl and if am asked I think she is or will be very good for you,,,"

"yeah but that's just it I don't know what to tell her or what to do am not even sure if she has feelings for me,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not forgetting she told me ever since I entered her life am just annoying ,,,,,she is so difficult and damn that's what I really like about her" I said as I rushed my fingers in my hair.

"if you handled me you can handle her just give it more time and warm up to her,,,,, I'll help you" said Shayne now catching my hand and I swayed my head to see Shayne very serious seems she isn't joking about it.

"and how will you help?"I asked as I returned my attention back to the road.

"I don't know but we will figure this out "she said as we parked into Jess's driveway.

Minutes later she came out with her usual black gorth culture clothes hair plaited into two big lines and the dark make-up I discouraged her from wearing and enters the back seat.

"Hello Jess" said Shayne turning back to greet her friend whom I was now madly in love with but still couldn't bring myself to accept it fully.

"Hey Shayne what you doing here?"

"I didn't feel like driving today" replied Shayne looking at me as if she expected me to say something.

"ummm,,, gorgeous face remember today we still have math and trig right?"damn that is so lame I though to myself as I now drove off to school.

"I guess so not really sure" she replied.

We spoke okay Shayne and Jess spoke for the rest of the journey on the practice for the competitions on Friday at my house more of a sleepover and I came to learn Jess was not going to work the whole of this week because of the cheer practice. Prom was also knocking in around two weeks time and so was The sofia Vergara contest that this two ladies were so obsessed with and just to be clear a lot of activities were coming up only this time I wanted to do them differently because of her. i watched using the front mirror as she chatted with Shayne and laughed and I just wondered how did I fall this deep in love?

We reached school and headed to our respective lockers. i offered to take Jess up to her locker since Shayne had a meeting with the school administration on her progress as a juvenile exconvict and from the Dan incident earlier this week I wasn't taking any chances. i walked behind her as everyone smiled at both of us. I know it seemed weird because she was busy studying her schedule and I was walking behind like a stalker.
