"Hey...where are we going?" I asked confused when I walked into Sweet Pea's house "We are not going anywhere, you are. Home" he said "What are you talking about? Is this because I've been busy with the musical and I stayed until late every day this week?" I asked "What? No, not at all. But....this can't go on like this. It was fun, we had fun but you need to go home, Lila. It's the only safe place for you" he said "Safer then with you?" I asked "Yes, Lila" he said "If you don't want me here just say so, I'll go to Veronica's or Betty's or Cheryl's" I said "It's not that I don't want you here. You know that's not it. Lila trust me on this one, it's better that way" he said and grabbed my hands "I went to talk to your mom" he said "You what? Why?" I asked "Because it's the right thing to do, Lila. I can't have you ruin you relationship with your mom. She already hates me and the Serpents and everything I am and stand for. Please, just go back home, okay" he said "But I want to be here, with you" I said and hugged him, hiding my face in his chest "Lila I promise you, you can still come over any time you want. But just please, sort it out with your mom" he said "Yeah" I said and continued to pack my things "You'll see it eventually, princess" Sweet Pea said "Yeah" I gave him a fake smile. When he wanted to kiss me I dodged it and put on my jacket "I'll see you at school" I said and left.

"So how did it go?" Betty asked the next day in school "As expected. She bit my head off. She took the door to my room, the door!" I said "Why?" Jughead asked "So I have zero privacy. And she blocked my window so I can't sneak out. It's a mad house" I sighed "No kidding" he laughed "So what? Did she ban you from seeing Sweet Pea?" Betty asked "No way I'll let her do that" I scoffed "But you've been avoiding Sweet Pea for the past few days...haven't you? How do you explain that?" Jughead asked "Tonight is the musical, you know I've been busy" I said "Busy enough to not even text or call or even share a glance at school?" he asked " he suspiciously looked at me "Okay Jughead Jones from the BAU, slow down" I said and he laughed "I kind of like the sound of that" he said and I rolled my eyes "You're not...mad at him are you?" Betty asked "No, I'm fine, we're fine" I said "Phew thank God. I must be under an illusion then because Sweet Pea is not really miserable or you're not extra pissy or-" Jughead said "Okay, Jug. I get it okay" I said "Then go over there and talk to him, Penny Proud" he said "No way" I saida little too quickly and he grinned "Okay fine" I said and stood up, walking up to Sweet Pea and his friend having lunch and laughing "Hey" he smiled as I reached them "Fries?" Toni asked, holding up the carton of fries "Yes" I smiled and sat down in between her and Sweet Pea. He smiled and put an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close to him and kissing me "Yeah, get in there" Fangs yelled out and Toni cheered "Stop" I laughed. Jughead and Betty joined us too "I think the words you're looking for are thank you" Jughead said, throwing a fry at me "Whatever" I said "You're way too stubborn for your own good" he said "You don't have to say that twice" Toni laughed

Later, people started gathering to see the musical, students, parents and teachers included "Don't you look super cute" Toni said and I laughed "Don't you look super 70s" I smiled "Thanks to you" she said "Alright, you finish getting ready I have to go greet people at the door" I smiled and she nodded "Mr. Jones nice to see you here" I smiled as the man entered "Yeah heard so much about this musical thing I had to judge it with my own eyes" he said as I handed him a pliant of the musical "Hope you'll enjoy, we put in a lot of work" I smiled and he nodded "Well well well" Sweet Pea smirked as he walked in "My girl, gorgeous as always" he said, kissing me "Here, it should start in 5 minutes. Sit down and I'll be there in a little bit" I smiled. The last few people took their seats and I sat down as well, watching Kevin saying a few words before it started "After this, how about we ditch the pity after party at Pop's and have some fun of our own?" Sweet Pea said into my ear before kissing my cheek "I planned the pity after party at Pop's" I said and he hissed "Oops" he chuckled "Yeah, oops is right" I laughed "Regardless, what are you saying" he asked "Maybe but now shh, it's starting" I said and Kevin sat down next to me. As the musical went on, Sweet Pea showed no interest at all "Uh...Kevin did you make any last minute adjustments?" I asked when the scene changed "Why isn't Carrie on her knees, singing?" Cheryl asked "I have no idea what this is" Kevin said, looking up to the stage just like the rest of us "I don't think this is part of the musical" I said "Oh my God. Help her! Somebody help her for God's sake!" Cheryl cried out. In the blink of an eye, everybody was running around like wild horses, trying to get out "Lila, don't look" Sweet Pea said, pulling me into his chest and covering my eyes "We need to help her" I cried "Somebody call 911!" someone yelled out.
