His surrender

Phana was sitting calmly in a chair and working on his laptop. He checked the time- 9pm. He sighed. Even though he looked calm, he was feeling restless.

His P'Arthit was still not home.

Actually, today was a very important day for his P. Phana was done with his exams and so was his P. Now he was attending campus placements every other day.

And today was such a day.

He's  getting this late means, he qualified all the rounds and reached the last one, right? Phana wondered.

He might even land a job today. In either of the cases, he wants to be prepared.

He checked the time again- 9:15pm. Phana frowned. He swears, that the time is passing very slowly.

He got up and went out to fetch the pink milk and their dinner.

It was a cool night, with a light breeze. Atleast his P'Arthit would not be feeling hot.

Phana smiled at the events of the morning. It was very warm and his P was complaining incessantly about wearing formals.

He took the dinner and pink milk and made his way home.

He was getting a good feeling about today, but a very unsettling feeling also accompanied it. He wondered, what could it be?

He checked the time again-9:50pm. He sighed, just how much more. This curiosity and anticipation was killing him.

Should he call him? No there are chances, he might get annoyed and throw a tantrum later.

An annoyed and angry P'Arthit. Phana chuckled. Even that side of his P is cute.

He started humming.

P'Arthit 🎶 P'Arthit 🎶 P'Arthit 🎶

Then someone jumped on him from the back. And Phana stumbled from the force.

"What?? You called?"

Phana looked back, surprised.

It was his P'Arthit, hanging onto his back, and he was smiling.

Looks like the result was positive, Phana thought.

"Guess what??", Asked Arthit.

"What?"

"I got selected", Arthit said excitedly and smiled brightly.

In response, Phana smiled brightly and hugged him tightly.

"Congratulations P'Arthit"

"Oyy!! We are outside!"

"I don't care"

Then Phana lifted him from the ground and spun him around.

Arthit laughed.

Phana laughed.

For a moment, they got lost in themselves and forgot the world.

"Enough! Enough. Now put me down"

Phana carefully put him down and pecked his cheek.

Arthit gave him a sharp look but said nothing.

"Here, your reward", Phana said handing him the pink milk.

Arthit brightened but said," that's it?"

Phana smiled and interlaced their fingers," I'll give you a big one later."

"Ok.. don't forget that"

"Hmmm"

"P'Arthit"

"Yes?"
